Hi everyone!

Several people have told me on Twitter/Instagram/YouTube that this season has been super busy. I'd like to propose that we don't read a new book for November, especially since it's NaNoWriMo and many of you will be writing nonstop!

Let's pick up in December so everyone has time to catch up on what we've read so far. If you were hoping to get a new book for Writerly Reads this month, consider going back through one of the books we've read thus far. Sometimes you can find corresponding workbooks, or maybe you can go back and dig deeper with writing exercises or resources mentioned in our previous books.

This book club is what you make of it! There's no pressure to dive into a deeper study, and there's also no limit on what you can learn and achieve. I'm super thankful for all of you, and I'm loving this community of readers/writers/and editors so far!

I hope you all have a wonderful November and Thanksgiving. Feel free to continue using the discussion threads for previous books! See you all in December!

Best,

Mollie

Chris (xffr) I like this idea of taking a catch-up month. I'm afraid I have yet to finish one of the #writerlyreads books....

Ironically, the $4 Audible Deal of the Day (November 1) is Writing Great Fiction: Storytelling Tips and Techniques (of The Great Courses). I don't know much about The Great Courses, but that seems a good deal for a pretty well-accepted book (lecture compilation?) from what I see and one that would apply to this group.

Have any of you read it? I may grab it by end of day but thought I'd ask and mention it here in case anyone's interested.
