What did you think? I was a bit disappointed after really liking his King Solomon's Mines...

Yeah, King Solomon's Mines was a bit better--but this was pretty good. As I mention in my review, I thought the beginning was a bit long. Haggard could have just given the back story in a synopsis instead of printing all the Latin/Arabic/what-have-you and then translating it (supposedly word-for-word).

Yeah, King Solomon's Mines was a bit better--but this was pretty good. As I mention in my review, I thought the beginning was a bit long. Haggard could have just given the back story in a synopsis instead of printing all the Latin/Arabic/what-have-you and then translating it (supposedly word-for-word).
