Persephone seems like on off-brand Luna tbh lol.

I'm also thinking her attachment to his journal might have something to do with him being her true love. Like, he references his journal, saying this is HIM, so if she has this destiny to love him, this thing that holds his essence would naturally be pretty appealing, you know?

I like Persephone too, she's so vague but also knowledgeable. Like the kind of peson than knows too much and says too little.
Maybe Maura has seen something in Blue's future and tries to prevent it, something connected to Gansey? It could be about her father, too.
The fact that she's drawn to Gansey's journal, finds out about his death, has talked to him without knowing it could emphasize the bond between her and him, even if she doesn't yet realise it.

I really like Persephone (I liked Luna too) she's knowledgeable and shy plus I love the name because of my love for Greek mythology. I think Neeve and Maura are arguing over something to do with Blue whether it's an unsavory prediction of her future or something from the past coming to light.
I think she's drawn to the journal in the same way she was drawn to Gansey in the graveyard possibly strengthening the connection between them.
