An Echo of Things to Come
question
Is Davian the last Shalis and what does it mean?

If you read or listen to the vision in Chapter 28, the Sha'teth tells Davian "I can smell you Shalisian!"....."You should not be here"!
These seems to coincide with the comment from Malshash that he was trained by Davian before and now he is training Davian. In chapter 33, Caedon was training with the Shalis via Ordan, extremely powerful and seemingly immortal through rebirth. With the power of rebirth, could the Shalis that trained Caedeon be Davian and explain why Davian is unlike any other auger and does not have a reserve.
It would be interesting to find out that Davian is the reincarnation of the Shalis. It explains why he was able to bypass Malshash defenses and obtain his memories or why he can create a kan vessel inside himself and life.
Thoughts! If not the Shalish, what did the Sha'teth mean?
