One thing I adored in the book is that there was a real life situation. A mom leaves a dad and her daughter, and the dad remarries another women. This wasn't your typical book. The situations that occurred are situations that could happen in real life. There wasn't one thing that I really disliked in the book. There is one question I would have for the author though. This may be obvious but I am still not certain. Was there a moral/lesson for the main character Tatum? If so, what was the lesson? This book was well written from a teenagers point of veiw.
I do not want to give the book away with any spoilers so I will keep this short in saying. Tatum was like most teenagers nowadays, just wanted to be understood. Especially from her dad and stepmother. She was accused of a crime she did not do. She lost a friend and made some new friends at the same time. She gain a crush while creating a new business. She kept secrets from her loved ones and broke some rules. I will state this again because I believe this is very important for someone who may want to read this book. She may be like most teenagers, but she is her own individual person like everyone else is. So I hope you enjoyed this book review and I hope you read the book and enjoy that as well.
