"Yes, it's fine." Josh says. His mother somehow made her way into her room. Josh was so angry he stormed out of the house. He stood outside hating his mother at this moment.

Maya blushed. She sighed and turned around and walked out following josh. She reached out and touched his shoulder. "Josh?" She whispered.
Josh expression softened slightly when he saw Maya. "Im sorry about her. I wish you didn't have to see that. I'm sorry. If your disgusted you can leave. I understand." He says.
Maya took his hand and smiled lightly. "I'm not leaving." She whispered. "We should get some sleep though... Come inside?@ she whispered
Josh glanced down at her. He finally nodded and followed her inside. "Here is your room. If you need anything I'll be across the hall." He says to her opening the door.
She nodded. She kissed his cheek before running into her room and going into her bed
Josh hugged her then nodded. "Goodnight." He calls before heading over to his door. He dresses down to his boxers then climbs into his bed and lays down thinking about everything that happened today.
Maya had fallen asleep. But it was around midnight when she woke from a nightmare. Her hurt racing she trembled. Looking around the room, expecting her father to jump out. She hesitated before leaving the room quickly. She peeked into Josh's room to find him sleep. She sniffled and trotted over and slipped beside him cuddling next to him. She felt safer.
Josh jumped when something touched him. He looked down and saw Maya next to him. He worried about her. "Oh, are you ok?" He asks sitting up and yawning.
She looked up at him with teary eyes. She shook her head and curled up beside him and cried silently. After a moment she was asleep again. Slipping into his warmth.
Josh stroked her hair until she feel asleep. He figured it was an nightmare. He hoped she felt better now. Josh wrapped his arms around her tightly and fell asleep like that. They stayed like that until the morning.
Maya yawned and stretched as she woke up. She gasped and sat up straight. Oh... She blushed. Two problems... One she was embarrassed she cried like that and slept beside him and two.... She had no clothes for school...
Josh woke up and saw Maya awake next to him. He didn't notice that she was so worried. "Are you ok now?" Is all he asks.
"Oh no! I don't have clean clothes!" She spun around and looked at Josh embarrassed. Her cheeks red. She sighed and leaned over and hugged him. "Ugh.."
"Don't worry my mother has some stuff you can borrow. And I swear she hasn't worn them in a very long time so I can assure you they aren't dirty or stinky with alcohol. " Josh tells her.
Maya smiled and kissed his nose. "Thank you sooo much!@ she beamed. "Just lay them in the bathroom. I'm going to go clean!" She beamed and leaped up and went to the bathroom"
Josh smiled he quickly grabbed his Mother's old clothes. Then he brought then to the bathroom. He left and got dress himself then.
Maya hummed as she took her shower. She soon got out and pulled on the outfit. She blushed. This was different... It showed a bit more then she usually liked but! That was okay! She giggled to herself and did her hair up. She was very gorgeous and she didn't even know it. She walked out smiling.
Josh jaw dropped when he saw her. He stared at her. She was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. "Wow.....the word gorgeous is an understatement for you." Is all he manages.
Maya blushed and bit her lip. Her cast propped her bad arm up and she smiled. "Josh..." She leaned over and pecked his lips before smiling. "Shall we go to school?@
"Oh! Yeah sure. I'll go get the keys." Josh says suddenly as if he was in a daze moments before. He jumps up running to grab the car keys. "Wow..." He said under his breath.
Maya grabbed her bag and followed. She but her lip and blushed. That was a good thing right? She wondered. She smiled and hopped into his car. She was excited for school!
"I'm happy I already out claim on you at school." Is all he says when she comes into the car. He starts the engine up and pulls out if the driveway.
Maya blushed deeply and giggled. "Oh yeah? I claimed you first!" She laughed.

Maya looked down. "Josh..." She whispered worried about him
Josh slumped back in the car. He said nothing as he pulled the led out of the ignition nod opened the door. He walked over to her door and opened it as well. Josh then walked up to his own door and unlocked it.
She stood there watching him. Did he want her to leave?... She looked down and sniffled.
"You can come in, I'll just be in my room." Josh says to her. He didn't want her to leave at all. He just wanted to let his anger out somewhere she wouldn't see. Josh wanted her to be safe and comfortable. And him freaking out in front of her wouldn't help.
Maya followed. Was he angry with her? She sighed and walked in sitting on the couch.
Josh locked himself in his room. He punched his bed. "I can't even keep her safe when I am in the same room as her!" He says through gritted teeth. Josh runs a hand through his hair.
Maya sighed. This sucked. She peeked up and saw his mom again.
Josh's mom luckily wasn't drunk at this moment. She looked at Maya not even remembering meeting her the day before. "Hello, I'm guessing you're one of Josh's friends?" She says.
Maya smiled. "I'm his girlfriend." She beamed. Saying it with pride.
"Oh? Well it's nice to meet you. Do you have any idea why he stormed through the house and locked himself up in his bedroom?" Josh's mother says. She could be quite a nice and thoughtful woman when she wasn't drunk. However you could see the sadness in her eyes.
Maya sighed and looked up. "I think he may be mad at me.." She admitted sadly. "These boys kept slapping my butt today... And when he was getting his car one pushed himself on me and was kissing me!" She had her good hand clenched. "It was horrible.."
"Oh honey that's terrible. Are you ok? And I positive Josh isn't mad at you. He is probably blaming himself for what happened. I know because he did that when his father died too." Josh's mother shares with Maya. You could hear a loud thump coming from Josh's room. "Josh! Come on out." Josh's mother calls. She winks at Maya before walking away again.
Maya blushed. She was worried about Josh... Really worried..
Josh hear his mother call for him. He ran his hand through his hair again messing it all up. He sighed and opened the door slowly. Josh glanced around then walked out. He sat across from Maya. "Sorry." Is all he says.
She reached over and grabbed his hand. "Josh. Don't beat yourself up okay? It wasn't your fault.."
Josh shook his head. "I shouldn't of left you alone. I walked away and left you alone so they swarmed you. Now look where we are." He says.
She stood and crawled in his lap kissing him gently. "We are together." She whispered.
Josh obviously calmed down hen she came over to him. He hugged her to him and kissed her back. Josh pulled back and leaned back in his chair. "I'm sorry I acted like a jerk earlier." He tells her.
"Don't worry about." She smiled kindly. She... She cared for him deeply
Josh nodded and hugged her tighter then loosened his grip on her. "Are you ok?" He asks her suddenly realizing he hasn't even asked her that at all.

Maya nodded and blushed. "I was just worried you were angry with me.
"Never would I ever be angry with you." Josh tells her. He smiles at her and pushed back a loose strand of her hair.
She blushed and giggled. "Really?" She smiled.
