Thanks. We're rather excited, of course. It's very windy here this morning. If it stays like this, it'll affect the race.
Morning all. Couldn't get the internet working at all yesterday, but I think I've kicked it back into shape.Hope you're all having a good weekend.
Morning. Might watch the race later (although considering I gave up on Formula 1 years ago, probably not). Still, hope to see you waving on the telly, Patti . . .
Good morning all. Hope that everyone is happy and well.Quiet day today. Like yesterday. And the day before that. And the day before that.
Good morning, looks really bright and sunny. Quiet is good Will. I’ll swap you a few of mine. Sounds like you’re getting better.
Morning all, wondering if I need to go back to bed. Bit of housework, then we are going to Cleveleys for a meal. Sun is shining. Going to try topical anti-inflam rather than a tablet, foot is still swollen and hot. They are really cute Michael!
F2 race isn't meant to start for twenty minutes but a bunch of cars just went past.Perhaps they're testing the wind.
Morning. Just had some twerp message me on my website telling me I'd miss-spelt Sargent. That sort of thing really annoys him and destroys the credibility of my website. He finds SpellingScan dot thingy very good for checking his website. So I shot off there and... in 2015 I quoted a little of a book with a protagonist called Gwen Sargent! Spellchekers don't check context - and he must have used that to find it. I doubt he read three years' worth of my stunning content. My reply to him was less snotty than his original message but I hope it helped him to get his head out of his bum.And now I can get back to writing!
Sunny here but intermittently. Topical creams helped my tendinopathy and plantar fasciitis, Desley. They don't cure the problem but it doesn't cripple you as much. Yonks since I went to Cleveleys.
Tour de Yorkshire here next week, Patti. At least it's quieter! It's bypassing our sleepy little village, thank goodness.
Loads of the plastic tarps blocking the view of the track from the pavements have blown off.Children have been running off down the street with them.
I'm surprised the soldiers that are posted every 50 metres haven't stopped them.
For those watching at home, our flat is on the straightaway between turn 2 and turn three.Tire just blew under our flat.

Are you feeling better, Will? It takes a while. Do you have the energy for reading? I remember not having energy for almost anything - much worse than my usual - but I started at a much lower level.
Do you need reading material?

No, I think they got bored and tired of the noise.I know I did.
Having said that, I did enjoy it more than I expected.
As Dave said many times, it'll be the last time we have an opportunity to watch live Formula One for free from the comfort of our home.
But, never say never. Who knows where life may take us?
I'm kind of jealous of you - I'd have loved to watch from your balcony, even though I haven't followed F1 for quite a while now.

Well, my neighbours son had to cancel, so we booked a table at the local carvery, never been before but would go again, had a mushroom tart and they did things like roasted sweet potato. Just been reminded that I have a committee meeting on Wed. Not convinced with the gel, hurt so much showering I felt sick. I find Formula One boring Patti but watched a few mins, Baku looks nice but you were right about the wind
Alicia - I'm feeling better, thanks. Starting working from home, half a day at a time, from tomorrow. To ease myself back in. Might have to do some of that writing stuff too. I haven't felt in the mood for much reading.Patti - Formula One can be boring but today's race had lots of incidents. Maybe not necessarily happening outside your window.
I set up the laptop next to the balcony door so we could watch the race we couldn't see from the balcony. It'll be nice once they get all the crud off the streets and we can get around the city again.
Good morning!
Today, I'm gonna make a start on packing up the flat.
Morning all. Cold and windy here, but with faint glints of sunshine. Our cats glimpsed a rival cat out of the upstairs window yesterday and were so outraged one of them managed to fall into the street. Thankfully she doesn't seem particularly bothered by the experience.
Good morning from a wet and soggy Surrey. It's one of the rare days of the year where the yummy mummies feel justified in driving a 4x4 and wearing designer wellies.
Wet and windy here in Kent -just like Surrey, of course. I've become a hoodie as a brolly's no good.
Oh, hello! Just noticed I didn't pop in here this morning. Went to get chicken food, then a trip to ASDAbury's for people food, and by the time we unpacked, the morning was just about shot.Did some writing, and now we've got to empty the cupboard under the sink (don't you hate that job?) so the plumber can come and change the taps.

My neighbour managed to get some free cat pens for the charity I volunteer for if we could transport them, and roped her son into doing that, he picked them up today so we met them there and helped move them from the van into our barn, flared my sciatica up. Cooked tea for my neighbour, just sitting with the fosters then going sitting on my heated blanket.
