Wooot! Is this in India near the friends?"
Nope. In Europe.
Oh Patti, that's exciting! Look forward to hearing how it goes.Am shattered and in Zurich. About to get into bed early. Got a load of reports to do but aim to get up at 6am and finish them before heading into meetings.
Good morning!I'm covering five different teachers today. Everything from five year olds to teenagers. I may meet myself in a corridor somewhere.
Yeehaw.

Well, short-ish.
Good morning all.Patti - you are teasing us with your international woman of mystery new job. We are dying to know!

Ah, Isle of Man then :-)
Morning all, another rubbish night sleep, sun is shining though. Wow, lets hope you keep all the lessons straight Patti, still got everything crossed. Hope you have a good day Kelly

Patti's becoming a tax exile?
Morning all. That's great news, Patti, everything crossed as politely requested.Humid and overcast in the valley but at least it's not raining. Exams are coming and the kids are starting to get wound up, so that'll be fun! National tests are also this week and the kids really love those, I can tell you - hours of literacy and numeracy tests ... thank heavens I'm on the other side of them.
It’s raining further west Gaff, I can hear a wet man drying his wet dogs. I’m lying doggo or I’d be corralled into helping. My coffee is just right for drinking and I’m not budging.
Morning All,Cold and wet again today. Was that summer I saw whizzing by?
Took the car for an estimate yesterday for a scraped bumper(narrow entrance to garage, wide car). Delighted surprise, he looked, said I think that's just wall paint and will polish off! It did! no cost and one happy Pat. Made my day.
Just read this and it had me giggling madly. That's how you write a recipe! (Note: includes swearing and cruelty to chickens and babies)

Always love it when the mechanic says, "That's covered because you bought it here." Congratulations.
I am impatient, Patti, but will be patient, and keep things crossed until they start cramping.Best wishes.

I have no idea Patti, those are heights I cannot aspire to these days. ;)

you merely have to be a resident to pay tax :-)
Ahhh sorry to hear you didn't have a good nights sleep Desley. It ruins you for the day. I never sleep the whole night through when I am travelling - like my own bed too much. Am forcing myself to stay awake right now as have another 40 mins until my flight check-in opens. ZZZZzzzzzzzz
Good morning! All the roads around our flat are closed to traffic. Perfect peace, except for the odd cop patrol car.
As I wasn't asked to work today when I was in yesterday, I told them I'm not available for a call in today, so I can have a day of relaxation before the hell of the stupid formula one that we'll be enduring for the next five days.
I really should just head for the airport.
Morning all, sorry been a bit absent lately - just generally up to my eyeballs atm. Just been dropping in to zap pesty posters. Having a couple of days off though, daughters' Christmas present to us was a trip to Newcastle to see my faves The Dead South play at a brewery. Should be fun :D
I envy you, Kath. I could use some comfort food: the latest house buyers have just pulled out. Seems the wife's employers have lost contracts with the local NHS, so she has lost all her hours and they can't afford a new mortgage as a result.

I read that too - great stuff.
AS it happens I'm currently reading his book on writing Damn Fine Story: Mastering the Tools of a Powerful Narrative, which is also rather Wendigian.

What were they going to do if she lost her hours after they bought the house? Cry? I don't think your agents are qualifying their potential buyers very well, if they're that marginal.
Well, saw 3am and 4am again last night. Then struggled to get comfy as Lucy decided to lie on me!! Was very snuffly when I woke up, spray seems to be helping, but cheek was really sore last night. Had an odd experience yesterday, I decided to get my neighbour a voucher for a back massage at the place she uses and assumed they would take card, unfortunately they don’t, not sure whether it was because I knew his name or he knows my neighbour, but he did hand me the voucher and trusted me to pop back and pay, no rush!! Suppose that is an upside of living in a small village. Last day of catsitting today fortunately. Sorry that you have had another buyer pull out Will.
Hello all. The Triffid of the Cornish Allo is still growing!! Now up to more than 3 metres. Is there a giant waiting up there to get down to my garden?https://www.goodreads.com/photo/group...
Ooh that sounds good Rosemary. There are some really good little venues around the place here, love finding places to go.
Afternoon everyone! I had a great morning taking part in relaying a box of breast milk down to the bank in Liverpool, did the initial bit from the hospital down to meet the Yorkshire guy for his leg of the relay. Nice run out in the sun. Got to pop back out this afternoon though to do some shopping. I want to start looking at getting a new car in a month or two so might go start that while I'm out as well.
Why do i have to work for a living? i need to be able to do something in where i am not around people at all. Hi all,
Sorry, just struggling at work at the moment. I hate my job, actually hate it, but i can't find anything else at the moment so can't leave. I swear i am slowly losing what is left of my sanity
I’m in the doghouse (although my doghouse is very comfortable.)Had to tell daughter someone left their freezer door open when I arrived this morning so she was really upset as it s full. She phoned to say I shouldn’t have put all her washing out as her line post broke. Feeling quite peed off to be honest. I shan’t do any more helpful jobs then in future.
