I could do with some woodland creatures to clean the flat.

Loving evening here too. The sea appears to be steaming, slightly. Should I be alarmed?

I have. 4 four times now. Each time the sale has fallen over.

Do hope you get some luck soon Will. I wouldn't be alarmed R. Sounds a good way to spend the afternoon Patti

Hi Maki, nice to meet you.
Hope you're happy with your dresses, Desley.
Nearly the long Easter week-end and I am off on hols next week. I'll be catching up on all the masses of stuff I am behind on.

I popped the bubble on my old pair just to see if there was much difference.

How incredibly frustrating!

And was there?
And how's the new job? Or haven't you started yet?

Apparently, the queen has a person who wears her new shoes to break them in.
I need one of those.

And don't even mention the state of his undercrackers.
The amount of beardage that a 17 year old can grow in a week is truly frightening.

My first brother in law used to ask my mum to break his shoes in as her feet were half a size bigger than his. Her reply was unrepeatable. Big feet run in our family:o)

Hoping to get some gardening done this aft. We have loads of the small daffs - like the wild daffodils - and they're a joy at the moment.

Lovely morning here. Just about to don wellies and tackle some of the bog growth in the garden. No frost, just squish!

I'll be so please to get out of here!

Good luck with BT Will

No other service provider you can use, Will?
I don't understand why internet is such a problem in 'developed nations' yet so good in developing. Actually, yes I do. It's all down to competition.

Rest of the week will be catching up with some jobs that need doing in the house...

Ooh, I haven't been to Edinburgh for yonks, are you going to do a bit of sightseeing?

Ooh, I haven't been to Edinburgh for yonks, are you going to do a bit of sightseeing?"
Not this time as I've done most of the sightseeing that Edinburgh has to offer, going to Mary King's Close though, which is a brilliant insight into old Edinburgh.

Sun with sleet flurries this morning.
Coming to the reluctant decision that it's time to sell my car. I haven't needed to use it for months so it's really just an empty nod to independence. However, I want to keep my no claims bonus so it's onto the internet to find an insurance company who will do that for two drivers of the same car.

First cooked breakfast of the 'holiday'.
Got all the fixings for a seafood stir fry for dinner, too.
Mind you, after this breakfast we may not want more than toast this evening.

Any mimosa left Patti? Sorry to hear about your car Elizabeth. Enjoy Edinburgh Les.

The excitement yesterday was nearly jumping right out of my skin when the church clock struck two while I was up the tower looking for the hanging thingies for their art exhibition. It was LOUD. (And five minutes early)

I haven't been to Edinburgh since I was about 6. My Dad's best friend was in the Scots Guards or something and we got a private tour of the castle. I remember peering through a hole in the wooden floor, where a cannonball had gone through. Or so said the poor young (no doubt bored) soldier who had to escort a 6 year old around, whilst the grown-ups had a drink!
It's raining, it's pouring and, after the wine I had last night, I may soon be snoring! Only had a couple of glasses but don't usually drink during the week.
It's a day at the laptop for me.
Enjoy your day.

Oh well. Will have to read instead.

Been climbing again today, and I'm back again tonight, will only get one climb next week and none the week after so I'm making the most of it. Think I'll be aching tomorrow though!!
Get to go home in a week so can't wait for that!

Glad you have internet Will. Enjoy the climbing Claire

We had mahoosive hailstones here earlier. They made a real racket on the roof.
