Thanks very much, Patti. I'm still hopeless with all the technical stuff. :)
Pleasure!I'm rather chuffed at the moment. I managed to turn a google doc into a word doc on my iPad a few minutes ago.
Go techie me!

I wouldn't know where to start with that one. :)
I enjoyed the spa, although I think we got the timing right, I did struggle to alternate between steam, sauna and jacuzzi, I didn't want to risk the steps for the pool, but had kindle with me so sat reading. Treatments were nice but short. Hasn't helped my sciatica or foot as much as I'd hoped though, although I've done 8k steps, most since hurting my foot

Am I the only person up?Wet, and have to go to Coniston today for meeting about agriculture and the future in Cumbria
I've been up since then too :( The hour change really messes me up - goodness knows how I'd cope with jet lag. Now on second double espresso :DIt's raining
So foggy here I can't see the trees right outside the lounge window.I hope it lifts. Dave's going up to b'wade again today.
Morning, another disturbed night sleep, housework day today, glad as it's raining. Not sure my foot is up to dragging the hoover upstairs though.

Good morning, little lad has yet another cold and cough. I’m keeping him away from OH as I can’t deal with stereo snot. Check your shoes Patti. I went to hairdressers last week in a pair I haven’t worn for ages and I thought one felt loose as I sat having my hair done. Looked down and saw the sole hanging off. I got the giggles. Another time at my friends i thought her dog had made a lot of crumbs under my chair but it was my cork heeled wedge shoes giving up the ghost. They’ve just degraded over the years.
Morning! Glad we got some gardening done yesterday. Siling down now. Friends coming for lunch, out at an AGM this evening. Can I stand the pace? Yeah, probably.

How frustrating
I've ended up ordering court shoes off Amazon to be delivered tomorrow. Can't be bothered messing about.
Will, if it wasn't for bad luck with your house, you'd have no luck at all.

How rude.

I gave up halfway through the course, pain wasn't improving so didn't think the nausea and stomach cramps were worth it. Have only done part of the housework, foot is swollen and we are going to York tomorrow

Can anyone remember I put a post up about the local estate agents for sale sign in a neighbours front garden? It said something like period features and secret garden. It was the irony of the secret garden in large print that caught my eye. Well the house sold and the new people moved in. I caught sight of them in the garden and asked if they liked gardening. They explained they were shocked because when it came to sign contracts the secret garden was on the deeds but they hadn’t seen it at all when they looked at the house. The agents hadn’t shown them the second part of the garden.

Blinking internet - on, off, on, off Grrrrr. Seems okay at the moment.I have a pair of pink court shoes that I must've bought 20 years ago. I put them out in the bin a few years back but my husband retrieved them saying they were too nice to chuck. I responded that I hadn't worn them in years and they were just taking up space. Of course, I knew I'd never wear them again.
We were in London at the weekend and I bought a gorgeous, tailored jacket - a pink jacket, at that. It matches the shoes perfectly.
There are runnels of water on the window but I hear birds singing.Must not be too nasty out there.
Oh have I mentioned the daffodils are out? Mostly just the ones in gardens so far but the wild ones look ready to pop any minute too.
Haven't seen any true buds on trees yet, but they have that greenish cast about them. Saw buds on brambles yesterday.
So, so nice to wake to birdsong instead of traffic noise.
Morning, got all excited when I woke up,stretched my legs and my foot didn't hurt, that stopped when I got up and walking was still painful! We are going to York today so taken painkillers already. Dry and the sun is trying to peek out.

Morning! Out for lunch with the village ladies, the book group this evening. Gosh, I know how to live!

I've parked yesterday's Hippo drabble on the Drabble thread for Patti. One doesn't cross the mods! ;)

I think it's the spring zapping season. They have woken from their winter slumbersBeen out on that A1 down the coast again this morning. Nearly got to England in fact :) Lots of lorries and tractors. Not a fun drive
