Anyway the wind blows, doesn't really matter to me, to me
I also ordered a box of Haagen Dazs Vanilla Caramel Almond ice cream bars. They didn't have those so they gave me Haagen Dazs Salted Caramel ice cream bars instead. YUMMM!
I'm real too, and I've met Anita so I can vouch for her as well!!Patti, I've just finished Ready Player One. Really glad you recommended it!! Thank you.

Morning all, another rubbish night sleep, going to ring the docs to see if my x-ray results are back. It's dry today though
Morning all!! Am sitting at my desk not even pretending to work!! Am on count down to Australia (we go on Friday!) so keep running through my head what I still need to do for that!!Have a great day all xx
Ps. I can also confirm that Geoff, Jud, Elle (peanut) and Simon are real too

Movie is out next week :)
Rang the doc on the way to work, and my x-ray has come back clear, yet toe is still bruised and swollen, so will go on Fri to get them to look at it again, the vet may be right and I need an MRI, but I do wonder if it’s soft tissue damage. I have got gel insoles in my shoes, but can’t put enough weight on to see if they are helping or not.

Seems to me you've had far more than a reasonable amount of pain from this.

Thanks for the sympathy about my knee. It's a lot better today although I shouldn't have walked the school run this afternoon. I have a club dig at the weekend. One chance only. It's bound to snow but we've all agreed we're going to do it whatever.

Evening all.Does a tree still fall? (Will we be on butterflies and thunderstorms next?)
I need to look at routes from here to South Wales which I suspect will involve the Ems 6 and 5, although I'd prefer a scenic route and one or two overnight stops on the way. This is for some undetermined time after Easter when I hope we'll be checking out locations near the sea for retirement move purposes. Himself's health is not good, and we seem to be getting very close to the now or never stage. Hey ho.

Ha ha Good one.
Well it’s been a lovely day here. 11° sunny as well. I’m not looking forward to taking my grandson for his vaccination booster tomorrow. If it comes down to a wrestling match he’ll win.

From where to where?
I go a few different routes to my sister in West Wales and niece near Cardiff.
Morning. Lovely here. Sadly I shall waste part of it by restocking the fridge and kitchen cupboards. :(

I normally recommend friends use the A483, which is stunning in places.
Morning everyone. Thanks Janet and Will. It's basically Glasgow to Carmarthen - I think I've travelled the A483 from Northampton to Carmarthen, but I'll need to confirm by looking at the road atlas. Certainly on the upper part of the journey, a detour to Martin Mere wouldn't go amiss - hopefully the weather will be rather more inviting by the time we go. Wouldn't want to be looking at soggy mandarin ducks.
You would not have used the A483 to go from Northampton, unless you went a very long way round... it runs from Ammanford (near Carmarthen) North through mid Wales to Chester!

Thanks for reminding me I've got that long, boring, motorway journey on Saturday night. Yuck. It's been persisting down here all day. Right miserable.
I hope it's better for our field trip tomorrow. If it's cancelled, I'll be pulling lessons out of the air, cuz I've not planned anything.
Looks like Dave's mother's funeral won't be until the 4th, so we'll have an extra week 'holiday'.
Rebooking the return flight won't be cheap but at least Dave getting paid leave for it.

I like them :-)
Kath, loved the teddies. Patti, sorry planning hasn't gone well. Was a lovely day today. Went to see the old dears and took mum to a funeral - but it was an affirming uplifting one for a lovely lady from Mum and Dad's church. Beautiful spring day. We're due snow this w/e and I got the toboggan from Mum and Dad's. It's older than I thought, thinking it must be great grandpa's rather than granny's.Knees are settling quickly thank goodness.
Night night all.
MorningIt's not raining, thank goodness. We were invited out for a meal last night but I declined and had an early night.
Glad I did. Expecting a day of herding cats, so I'm glad I'll be in good form.
It’s stopped raining here thank goodness, had to move the bins to get the car out then put them back in the drive. The glass container and the dustbin were half full of water and there were drainage holes in the glass container. Started the day off well with one shoe full of water. Just booked my ‘holidays’ and it can’t come too soon at the moment. I’m feeling very grumpy.
Raining here, the cars are swishing by outside rather than trundling. Also sounds as if I should be looking out my thermals again, sigh.
Morning all! I have no idea what the weather is doing here as I am very lazy and still in bed!!Last day of work for me today before holiday and I am ‘working from home’!!! I have warned my boss that I will just be checking emails and not a lot else!! Oh and I have to put my out of office on and change my answerphone!! Such a stressful day ahead lol!!
Hope you all have a great day x

My twin addictions are Morrisons' Toffee and Vanilla ice cream and their Double Chocolate. Two nearly empty containers stared at me from the freezer this evening, but hopefully two full ones will arrive tomorrow to replace them.
