The Scion of the House fetched up yesterday afternoon (this was his 'mid-to-late morning') but all was forgiven on receipt of a lovely card and a bag full of assorted delights from Patisserie Valerie.
So sorry to hear about Dave's mum, Patti.

Of to buy wool!

Now, if only I could find the file editor . . .

Good Morning. It's wet. Today I have work all day. Mum is at home and one of her friends is visiting. We have two appointments later this week for a scan and then chemo.
Sorry to read about Dave's mum Patti.

However, since it is possible to Skype or equivalent with internet people, should one desire to do that, you're all real. I'm not that inventive.

Well, the U.K. And Azerbaijan, anyway.
Absolutely miserable here.
Thanks for all the recent condolences. Dave's fine. His father seems to be holding up so far.

Patti, so sorry to hear about Dave's mum. Sending condolences to you all. x
Emma, your dress is gorgeous.
No travelling until Sunday. Yee hah.

I am real too Patti x

remember Canadians don't have real winter, so they're not used to sleet :-)

sleet doesn't warrant profanity, it's more a situation which calls for dour resignation :-)

Better than 'Jim cannot be found' . . ."
Which is generally true but really depends upon who is looking ;-)

Fuuny that... we must have the same fantasies. I could have sworn the three of us had a group hug at one point.

Just sayin'."
Sounds wonderful! I am awaiting a Tesco delivery with a tub of cinnamon roll ice cream.

In the middle of March after having a couple of days in the high teens?
Yeah, I'm gonna have to swear.

They didn't have the cinnamon roll ice cream. Grump, grump mutter, mutter.

Oh no! Now that is disappointing.
