Alicia Ehrhardt (aliciabutcherehrhardt) | 4835 comments Stunning gorgeous Pentecost Sunday here.

We had lunch on the terrace (72°F with a light breeze), and then I rode Maggie around through the various gardens we have, chatted with a few other residents, smelled the flowers. Flowers everywhere.

And now I need a nap.

But I hadn't been out of the building in a week except for one dinner in the new (unfinished) dining room. It will be nice when they ever get it finished.

Jim | 21809 comments I'm tempted by the Malteaser hot choc :-)
Sunday was a cooler day, constant chance of showers etc
Indeed our weekend was generally like that, after two good days for the bank holiday

Jay-me (Janet) | 3784 comments Had a good day, walk through the sand dunes at StAnnes then round the lake at Fairhaven, whilst the cats were at the vets.
Came home with two quiet kittens. One with a cone which she has managed to remove three times in the half hour we have been home.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12594 comments Evening, a nice day, but didn't get to enjoy much of it. Got to my sis's at lunchtime to be told their holiday plans had changed as there is bad weather due at the end of the week, so now they are going away tomorrow morning and back Thu pm, I'd have complained about the messing about and notice, except it works out better for me, and now means I don't have to go to the office every day. Then friend wanted to come round after work to use the internet to order something so I agreed, and then we got chatting, it was 6pm when she left so too late for a canal walk so did a quick park walk to hit my step count. Had to do some more work for the director, but at least got a compliment for a chart I did, and my boss has asked me to do a task that needs doing by Wed, so much for a catch up week! I foolishly suggested something to my boss that will give me even more work, I regretted it as soon as she said yes!

I would be too Jim, it even had bits of malteaser in it. Glad you managed a walk while the kittens were in the vets Janet, I'm surprised they gave you a cone for the female, I haven't used one of those for years, my vet uses glue, so they don't need one, not even when Lucy had part of her hip removed. Can't even suggest something, it's that long since I needed to use one.

message 16755: by Jay-me (Janet) (new)

Jay-me (Janet) | 3784 comments Cones on the cat! It's supposed to stop her licking the stitches. So how do I stop her brother licking her? She's removed the cone more times than I can count, and managed to stick her leg through twice. Barney helped her take it off and he ran away with it to play with. I'm going to have to find something else!! Someone suggested a little jumper. Knowing Bradley that wouldn't work either.

On my walk I saw a big group of Canada Geese, adults in a circle around about a couple of dozen goslings. They seemed to be keeping the swans away.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12594 comments No real advice sadly, that's why I was relieved when I changed to a vet who uses glue so cones aren't required, they were an absolute nightmare. The only good thing is that while they say 10 days, if you can manage for the first 3 days, things should be knitted together well enough, I've only known cats need the wound stapling if they pulled too much in the first couple of days, but a lot don't actually bother that much with the wound, it's the cone that they don't like.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12594 comments Evening, another frustrating day, colleague kept interrupting me to do things, so at lunch I decided to try and explain how to do it himself, things went downhill when I said to use the shift key and he asked if that was the big key at the bottom of the keyboard!! I was frustrated as I have things that need doing for tomorrow, so don't really care about his stuff that doesn't need doing till Fri!! So was glad it was dry enough to do my lunch time walk, as I needed it. Then drove past sis on the way home so pulled in and asked what was going on, she thought they were going after tea but messaged half an hour ago to say he's now said his car is going for an MOT on Fri, so doesn't want to drive that far, seems a rather pathetic excuse and really annoyed with him for messing the kids around, as much as i'm glad as there are now roadworks so would have been a lot of messing for me. As I was late home I just did a little bit of a canal walk, the goose creche was in the field, they are looking really big and more goose coloured now, so not as cute! I have at least finished work on time both days this week, that feels good, and I forgot to say yesterday, I had to park in a different spot when I got back from sis's, as there was a rabbit eating grass where I normally park.

message 16758: by Alicia (new)

Alicia Ehrhardt (aliciabutcherehrhardt) | 4835 comments True incompetence or not knowing the shift key so someone else has to do it for him? Hope you didn't rescue him too much - in this digital age, everyone needs to be able to do input.

Reminds me of my time at Princeton: when PCs were first brought in, they went onto managers' desks - as a status symbol. The managers had no idea how to use them, and the physicists and engineers who did, didn't have enough status to get one.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12594 comments Well, this isn't the first time he's been shown how to do that task for himself and he keeps forgetting, so no doubt next time he'll just ask me to do it again! He'd tried doing something different yesterday morning but it just meant I had to re do it!

Jim | 21809 comments Has he actually had any training to use computers?
A remarkable number of people never have. Also a lot of things about computers are only intuitive when you've been trained on them.
Like a friend of mine who loathed icons that you clicked when they first came out because he found them clunky and inefficient. But then he was used to just typing in codes direct which was genuinely faster, but only if you knew them.

Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) (nosemanny) | 8590 comments Or he's just one of those people who simulates being useless at something so that other folk will do it for him. Plenty of them about.

We seem to have an outbreak of avian flu here, just waiting for confirmation from the authorities. Hundreds of dead and dying gannets and other seabirds on our beaches for the last couple of days. The largest gannet colony in the world is just three miles offshore, the other islands have puffins, shags, guillemots...

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12594 comments Evening, Lucy woke me up at 5.10 trampling over me, as soon as the alarm went off, she dived off the bed, turned out she wanted to go out and eat grass. A nice quiet day in the office, I do feel like i'm starting with a cold though. Couldn't do my lunchtime walk, I was supposed to have a meeting 12-1.30, so didn't take my boots, then at 12.05, it got pushed back to 2pm! Did a canal walk with ratty neighbour after work though, thought the fresh air might help. Not much wildlife today, fed a pair of mallards, don't often see one of each sex, and the goose creche was in the field again.

I think you are right R! He is used to be being like a secretary to him, so thinks it'll be like that again, but I've not got the time for that at the moment, my boss did tell me at the beginning not to do too much for him, and I'm not good at saying no, especially when the 20 mins I spent showing him I could have done it 20 times! How sad, poor birds.

message 16763: by Alicia (new)

Alicia Ehrhardt (aliciabutcherehrhardt) | 4835 comments It's uncomfortable saying no. Instead, say "my boss did tell me at the beginning not to do too much for" you, "and I've already shown you three times. I must not be the teacher you need, and I don't have time to do this work for you, so please talk to the boss for a better source of help. Maybe a class?" And then steadfastly stick to the same script every time he asks you for help.

You really need to stick up for yourself, if only because it affects YOUR ability to do YOUR work. More, of course, because you're a giver, and he's a taker, so for yourself. But the work reason is a good temporary backstop.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12594 comments Not sure that will work unfortunately Alicia, he has issues accepting things from my boss, we've ended up with a weird hierarchy to get around that!

message 16765: by Alicia (new)

Alicia Ehrhardt (aliciabutcherehrhardt) | 4835 comments So sorry. He sounds like a real peach. Probably destined for upper management (sarcasm but sadly a real possibility).

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12594 comments Evening, started off lovely and sunny, so did some washing, went to do some errands at lunch, got round the corner and saw people taking washing in as it was starting to rain, so went back home and put mine in, it was 95% dry fortunately. Good job as it got heavier by the time I got home. Fortunately it stopped by the time I finished work, so I did a quick canal walk, took the wrong bag though, so had disapproving looks from the family of geese with the 4 goslings, who apart from being a bit fluffy, look pretty much like adult geese. Then got a text from colleague while I was walking along the canal as we'd got a notification, and he didn't have the password, so I agreed to switch the computer back on to see what it was, fortunately we won the job - this was the one the other month where I had to have 2 hour meetings over lunch and working extra hours, so I was so relieved that all the stress was worth it.

No, he's a retired colleague who's back covering maternity.

message 16767: by Alicia (new)

Alicia Ehrhardt (aliciabutcherehrhardt) | 4835 comments I understand. You're grateful he's covering, but wondering if he's worth it, given that he's probably not as computer literate as you are by a big amount.

Do you think written instructions might help him? Or do you just have to get through until the maternity person comes back? If they do.

Interesting world we're living in lately.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12594 comments That's the one Alicia!! He isn't that computer literate (in fact, I don't know what it is about him, he has IT issues that no one else ever gets, I'm sure IT dread him ringing/e-mailing too!), which is hard enough but he doesn't like coming in the office, so explaining things to someone over the phone isn't easy, I've tried showing him over Teams, but that's equally as hard, and what is more frustrating is he gets quite belligerent about it, like 'it ain't working' and it normally happens on a day like the other day where I have things for other people that need doing sooner than his task, so I don't have the patience. Colleague has set a date for coming back from maternity, on 1st December - I'm pleased for her that she can have the full 12 months with baby, but counting down the days!! Might look at doing some written instructions actually, that could work.

I worry about you for the long period coming up.

Hope written helps in any way. Could also help new people coming into your system, and people changing jobs to your group.

Jay-me (Janet) | 3784 comments I can't believe how quickly this week has gone.
My work computer wouldn't open my spreadsheet program on Tuesday, fortunately I could use another one.
Our main program needed updating so I did that on my own, my laptop and two others.
When I went back into work yesterday the bosses computer wouldn't open the emails, so a call to the IT company we have a support contract with solved both problems. But no-one can explain why my computer freezes up. It used to be lunchtime on Thursdays that it happened, now it is more often and random times.

I've been trying different foods for the kittens - so far there is only one that they turn their noses up at. They sit and look at the bowls, then go and sit by the pantry door.
I'm also trying different cat litters - which do you advise please Desley?

message 16771: by Alicia (new)

Alicia Ehrhardt (aliciabutcherehrhardt) | 4835 comments Bless you for tackling kittens.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12594 comments Evening, what a good day, between Fri and the good news from yesterday, evening was in good spirits for our meeting this morning. Weather has been dry and sunny, but with a really strong wind, couldn't be bothered going to Morrisons as I only wanted one thing, so nipped to Lidl at lunch for the first Jersey Royal's of the year, and it was relatively quiet e-mail wise, so I got caught up, was asked yesterday to make sure something was done by the end of the month, it was practically finished today! went for a walk after work, decided as there were no geese on the canal that I'd go to the nature reserve, was just thinking there was no interesting wildlife, when I saw a pair of herons - there was a woman walking her dog who said it's rare to see a pair, and wondered if it was adult and young, as one was a lot smaller. Then we had a chat, comparing notes on wildlife, and how lucky we are to have all this on our doorstep. Had a quick walk round the pond further up in case I saw the herons again and couldn't believe how many tadpoles there were! On the way home, the goose creche was in the water, so I fed them, then had a female mallard jump out of the canal and run toward me, so had to feed her, but didn't have much left, literally turned the bag inside out for her! There were two women sat on the bench fascinated by what I was feeding to get such a reaction, they are going to get some food from candle shop next time they are out! They did comment we don't normally have that many goslings, I'm not surprised with how much food the candle shop have gone through. Luckily I had 50p in my bag, so popped in to get another bag, they said they think they recognise people, and I heartily agree after yesterday, didn't even have a food bag and got disapproving looks from the goslings for not having anything to give them! Such wonderful conversations with complete strangers. And still back in time to read for an hour, although it does mean the washing up has to wait till tomorrow! Think the fresh air is helping my cold, and my average step count is better than last week. Treated myself to Britbox today, as there is an offer on, a lot of 90's shows that I missed, might need more than the three months to get through them.

I feel the same Janet, it went nearly as quick as last week's 3 day week. What kind of cat litter have you been using and what shops do you have access to?

he sounds a bit like a lady of my acquaintance. She's ended up using computers but has had absolutely no training and no real grasp of the basics. She gets remarkably irate, especially when windows open when she hovers her mouse over them, because she isn't intentionally hovering her mouse over them.
Also she'll click on something and miss because she isn't concentrating and that irritates her even more.
Also she loathes the various pop up things that are built into programmes to 'help you'

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12594 comments That all sounds very familiar Jim!!

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12594 comments Evening, woke up with quite a bad cough, but after sitting up for a while and taking some tablets, I felt better, so I went to the craft fair bumped into friend's aunty, so bought something for her for a friends birthday, had a mooch round the food festival, bumped into a friend, and fortunately there was a stall selling olives, so at least I have some now. Contemplated not doing a canal walk as was starting to feel like I needed some more tablets, but I did it as I didn't want to lose my streak, and glad I did, made me feel much better. Then got a sandwich and hot choc from the coffee shop to make me feel better, although I have used my cold as an excuse to spend most of the afternoon either watching TV on the sofa or reading on the bed, rather than doing chores!

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12594 comments Evening, Lucy woke me up at 5.30, but then let me sleep till 7.30, so haven't had much motivation today, ironically my horoscope mentioned that and said not to worry, taking time for yourself is important and to go easy on myself. I thought I had enough cold tablets, but didn't, so nipped to Lidl while out for my walk, it's been very cool for June, although it was windy enough to dry the washing. Went to make up my tablets for the week and realised I hadn't been given something that I ordered, so checked to make sure I actually did order it, and apparently it has been rejected, but doesn't say why, have sent a message in case I forget to ring tomorrow, but it's my arthritis medication, don't think you can suddenly stop taking it, but it's not like I can just get something of a lesser quality from a shop! Went to do my pamper session and noticed it was raining, and I knew a couple of neighbours had washing out still, so I went and knocked on their doors, got back and my finger was really sore, looked at it and it's bruised and swollen, must have hit one at a funny angle, but a bit of cold and some arnica cream and it doesn't feel as painful, so hopefully it won't be worse tomorrow.

Alicia Ehrhardt (aliciabutcherehrhardt) | 4835 comments Thanks for sharing your walks, Desley. It's good to hear about the wildlife and the daily observations.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12594 comments Evening, woke up and my finger was puffy and bruised, but looking/feeling much better after a few applications of arnica cream, even though it is out of date, will definitely remember that next time, not used to bruises going down so quickly! Really quiet in the office today, so have managed to get a fair chunk of my to list finished. Went for a walk round the lodge at lunch and disturbed a squirrel, after saying recently I haven't seen one for ages! Good job I did walk as friend came round after work to use the computer, so I didn't get my after work walk. Did ring the docs on the way home, the reason my prescription got rejected seemed bizarre, and I was annoyed that they could refuse saying it needed reviewing, when it's the rheumatologist who agrees it, it's just up to the doctor to dispense it, and if it's rejected, someone should tell patients so they could do something about it. Receptionist was only willing to make me an app, I refused so she got the manager to ring me back, who agreed it was a stupid reason to reject and got the doctor who was on this pm to agree to accept my prescription, so that should hopefully be ready at the chemist tomorrow, as it was marked urgent. I did ask her about my toe nail surgery, had to reject the first app as it's our work do, I won't be popular saying no to that! Not sure about the alternative, it's a Wed pm and the Sat is our next village event, and I've offered to help fundraise that day, not sure that would be wise so close after surgery, so think I'll ring back tomorrow and rearrange.

Alicia Ehrhardt (aliciabutcherehrhardt) | 4835 comments Have to check how long I'd be out after a toe fix, too.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12594 comments Evening all, woke myself up at 4am coughing, so pressed the wrong button on the alarm, so woke up 20 mins late! Quite busy in the office today, went for my walk round the lodge at lunch, one of the directors was leaving at the same time and was curious where I was going. Saw the geese and goslings today and on the way back, a couple were walking 3 dogs, one was off the lead so came over for a cuddle. Had nearly a 2 hour meeting, so had to work a bit late to deal with a couple of e-mails, had nearly hit my step count and wanted to finish my book, so I just went to the co-op for some coleslaw, fancied some lighter food with it being so warm, bumped into ratty neighbour, so had a chat with her, then friends' cousin dropped off some more wax melts, thought my favourite would be cherry amaretto, but the strawberry daiquiri smells nicer.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12594 comments Evening, another nice day and a bit more wildlife today, did a little park walk at lunch as Lucy wanted to go out and disturbed a squirrel. Then on my canal walk after work, I saw a massive shoal of fish - not quite sure where it started or ended, but counted 30 of my size 7 feet between what I thought was the beginning and end - there were two kinds, one was dark and stripy, which caught my attention, then at the side there were some that looked translucent, there were more of them, and they were all smaller than the length of my little finger. Friend popped round after work to help me pick a dress for our work event, looks like we might go clothes shopping this weekend. Got my toe nail surgery booked for 20th July, it's quite handy as I have things on the first three weekends, so I'll appreciate a quiet weekend, and as it's a Wed pm, I'll be able to do 2.5 days in the office and if someone can do my printing on a Mon, could do Wed, Thu, Fri the week after. I still haven't had a text from the chemist, meant to just pop by on the off chance, but will take the advantage to try and go back down to 2 a week, see how I get on.

Alicia Ehrhardt (aliciabutcherehrhardt) | 4835 comments Fish mean the waterway is healthy - how wonderful.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12594 comments Evening, quite a frustrating day at work, realised someone hadn't given me a document I need to upload tomorrow before he went on holiday, rang his boss and fortunately this afternoon we found he'd sent it to him instead, and he just assumed I had it too! Temps have been up to 23 today, just did a couple of errands at lunch, including getting my prescription, then after work Lucy panicked me, she'd been sleeping under the blanket when I came down at lunch and still hadn't moved when I finished work and didn't move when I prodded her through the blanket, took ages to wake her up!! Then did a canal walk as while it was still over 20, it was more overcast, shortly after getting on the canal, I saw a group of 5 fish, assume bream, swimming in a circle randomly! Was too cloudy to see the patch of grass I saw the shoal yesterday, but there are about 3 patches where there is grass on the bottom, so thought I'd check them all out, the second one had a massive shoal, but bigger fish than yesterday, black and stripy, so not sure what they are - so that's 3 different size fish, and possibly 2 of the 3 kinds we have in the canal in the last two days, so that is good. Coming back, there was a submerged branch from a tree that fell in the other week, that also had a massive shoal of similar size to the second lot I'd seen today (hopefully not the same ones), and then noticed two young looking squirrels, don't often see squirrels near the canal and don't often see a pair. It's no wonder I look forward to my walks never know what you are going to see, and what you might not have seen before, and certainly feel very lucky.

Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) (nosemanny) | 8590 comments Yes it's been warmish here and still blowing a hoolie, but listen to anything broadcast and they're just banging on about some heatwave.
Avian flu is now confirmed and there are dead gannets everywhere along the coast :(

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12594 comments Evening, while we had decent temps, it was quite overcast and windy too! Decided not to go for my lunchtime walk, computer was saying it was 25, and I had 2 meetings after lunch, didn't think people would want to sit in a room with me if I had!! Computer said 27 at 3, I felt fine, but got in the car which said 24 and felt incredibly warm! At least the two meetings finished early. Got home, gave Lucy the chance to go out, she decided it was too hot, so I went for a walk, got as far as the canal before it clouded over, and when I got home it said 19. Only wildlife I saw today that I haven't seen for a while was a moorhen (at least I think they are, someone thought it might be a coot). Called in co-op to see what they had reduced, came home with pizza and onion rings for tea, did my one chore for the day, then read for an hour before sitting with the girls. The door felt a bit weird when I went down to put my pizza in, as I left them, it sounded worse and I couldn't open it again, so had to get one of the neighbours, nothing happened when we pulled out the handle, so he had to bash it open, we've now taken the handle off, the bottom hinge is slightly cracked, so it's stiffer than it's ever been which means I can pull it closed without shutting it and the cats shouldn't be able to get out, will find someone to look at the hinge and put a new handle on for me!

I have Jim, and I normally like alternating, but it's fascinating to do the same walk and see what different things you see. Aww, that is so sad R, is there anything they can do?

Jay-me (Janet) | 3784 comments A busy week with work, kittens and mum all needing time spending. I've not managed to get to the tile shop to look for tiles for the bathroom but I did manage 3 gym classes this week - bank holidays have disrupted a lot recently as I go to yoga on Monday and zumba and pilates on Friday.

We decided to leave the cone off Bradley and everything seems ok. The operations certainly haven't slowed either of them -they are still tearing around like hooligans.

I asked about the cat litter because the cat rescue used wood pellets and my sister in law recommended Lidl -the gravel type. I don't usually shop at Lidl but have called in a few times and eventually got some to try -they don't seem to stock it regularly. I'm not sure I like the gravel type - the kittens seem to manage to scatter it around more than the wood pellets. Plus they shredded the liners when we tried them.

I saw about the bird flu on Springwatch. I hope that something can be done.
Desley - if the bird you saw had white on its face it was a coot.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12594 comments Glad she coped without the cone. I don't like wood pellets personally, I find that I end up tracking sawdust round the house with them. Not a fan of the Lidl one either, mine normally have it all the time, but cat litter has been hit and miss since last summer, even in Pets at Home! The girls have some gravel type from Pets at Home, Lucy has clumping, but I'm struggling to get that - the one we were getting last year from B & M is constantly out of stock, so I went to the other one they've always had in stock and I've not been able to get that for 2 months, despite trying 4 B & M's! Looking like my options are paying more, or putting her on the same litter as the girls.

The one I see on the canal has red on its face.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12594 comments Evening, Lucy woke me up at 6, but I didn't mind too much, as it was sunny, but not forecast to last, so I went out for my walk at 10.15, it's a lot busier along the canal at that time, so didn't see much wildlife. Got back and did some chores, was just relaxing with a drink when friend text and asked if I wanted to walk with her and foster dog, so I said yes, we ended up coming home along the canal, but from the opposite direction, I did seem some fairly young goslings, but couldn't feed them as we had the dog, I let her take the earlier exit, so I could see if the goose creche was there to feed, they were all settled in the field, but saw a female mallard chase a male mallard, which caught my attention, and realised it was because she had young, so I gave them a few handfuls of food, she wasn't as maternal as expected, she just gobbled it up rather than letting the ducklings have it first! At least the geese were polite and let the ducklings eat. Since getting home, have finished one book and read a third of the next, plus done over 13k steps, should definitely finish my series this month. I did read an article earlier that says we are wrong for denying ourselves joy, and to enjoy hobbies, even if they are met with negativity, I fully embrace that, after spending so long with having what I enjoy (whether that's interests or food/drink) being put down or dismissed, I'm really enjoying things more, and then treated myself to some nail art things, in the hope of getting back into doing different things with my nails (and using the nail varnishes, think I mentioned my new stand that holds 72 bottles is practically full!!).

Alicia Ehrhardt (aliciabutcherehrhardt) | 4835 comments Joy - what else is there to live for, duty?

Only if there's something else YOU want to do, when it's your time and your money.

Why do some people have to put others down or be dismissive? There's something wrong with them.

Yes. It's not a rehearsal.
There's a nice bit in Galatians :-)

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,"

These are the good things we're supposed to be aiming for, and it strikes me that Desley is making a gallant attempt at them :-)
So never be ashamed of Joy

Alicia Ehrhardt (aliciabutcherehrhardt) | 4835 comments I agree completely.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 12594 comments Evening, not only did I get a lie in this morning, but I had to wake Lucy up, not a bad thing as she's easier to medicate when slightly sleepy! Downside is I couldn't get all the bedding dry and put back on the bed. Friend was busy today, so I just called in on my way back from a walk, I saw a shoal of 16 decent size bream, in a part of the canal I've not seen them before, a bloke behind me said they like going there when it's warm, he thinks the lock cools the water down for them, they seem quite clever! Walking up to the reserve, I saw cows in a field that weren't there two weeks ago, then went and checked the tadpoles, must google how long they take to grow as they don't seem that much bigger than 2 weeks ago, but there seem like hundreds in not that large a pond, so maybe that is slowing them down. Nail kit came today, so I tried to do a french manicure using non traditional colours (two shades of pink) - I had to really think how to do one, it's years since I have! Not the best job, and don't like these two colours, but will try again with others.

Assuming that isn't a rhetorical question Alicia, I think with my neighbour it was a combination of control and wanting to feel needed. The article was saying that we feel guilty for being happy when others are struggling, which I certainly relate to, but that we shouldn't.
I'm having a good go Jim, although not good at patience, especially when it comes to colleague!!

Alicia Ehrhardt (aliciabutcherehrhardt) | 4835 comments I wasn't being particularly specific, though your neighbor was a case on my mind.

It's true for a LOT of unhappy people that they are more interested in controlling what others do than in finding out and doing what makes THEM happy. It may satisfy them to control others, but they aren't really happy.
