Sounds like something Desley would know about if they are real CATS. I took the little spotty one out yesterday. We went to the sweet shop and the chocolate factory. I’m doing something wrong though. He refused any samples of chocolate and he’s saving his bag of sweets for tomorrow. He’s not got my genes in him 😀
It’s a rugby day here, curry and a beer. I do hope Wales wins.

Urgh, had to go to bed early last night cos my sciatica was painful, had a disturbed night sleep cos of it, but don't feel as drained. Do have a headache and sciatic still twinging though. Thanks to the cleaner I don't have that much housework to do, when I dropped my friends shopping off she also had a money off cat food voucher that she gave me, so need to go and spend those. Might go and check out the local café at the side of the park, but might be really busy. Could do the decluttering that I didn't get round to on Wed. Yeah, real cats I'd be good at, never heard of a CAT4 assessment though. Wow, how unusual for a child to turn down free chocolate and save their sweets! I used to make mine last, my sister would gobble down all hers then expect me to share!

Been away all week. It's been ages since I had a longish business trip. Don't miss them in the slightest. I think my cold has finally gone. Phew! Been a gorgeous day here, positively spring-like. Wonder how long it'll last!
I could do with a nap right now.
Very hectic day, hopefully that means I'll sleep well tonight - sciatica is much better, but not the headache, although I've not eaten or drank enough today so no big surprise. After getting the few bits from the village, I took my neighbours shopping round and she suggested going to B & M, we ended up going to 4 places, 2 of them specifically for things for other people, then had to take the things I'd picked up for my friend round to her house, she did suggest we offered to either take people shopping or pick things up for people for a bit of extra money, but I prefer doing it adhoc really. Now in my pj's, plan is to sit with the girls for an hour before going lying on the sofa for the rest of the evening. Glad you are home again Kelly, and your cold has finally gone. Good luck with cutting up the tree Jim!

Got woke up at 6.20 by Chanel, but felt relatively fine - me and Lucy did go back to med after medicating her, she slept but I didn't. Nice day to be up early though, got my usual Sunday chores, bit of pottering on the computer, then trying to figure out where to put all the cat food from this week, before a nice bath. Lying on the sofa last night wasn't the best idea, was so stiff when it got to bedtime!
Sounds like a lovely plan for the day, Desley. I am writing and maybe going for a walk. Plus another online touch-typing lesson. The sun is out, and it's going to be around 12 degrees today.

It was lovely here, too. Went to church for the first time in a while, it was grand. We basically worked through my favourite hymns and my vocal chords appeared to be unaffected by the chest infection so I was able to sing lustily to all of them! Especially for those in peril on the sea which is a cracker! I mean, it has the word 'walkdest' in it for heaven's sake! mwahahahargh!
Had a good weekend out and about in York, with friends, watching Nuneaton Borough, now back home with the family, watching more football and a bit of early in the year gardening. Busy week ahead with work, so nice to do something before all that.

Morning!We were at a Puddle Jumping Championship on Saturday, the kids loved it and I was the one who ended up covered in mud. I took waterproofs for them and not even a pair of wellies for myself. I shall correct this error for next year.

In cases like that there ought to be a premeeting meeting to set the agenda!All meetings should be held in a pub, and the person calling the meeting has to buy the drinks for so long as the meeting lasts.

Some years ago, I was the Chair of our local social club. We held meetings on Sunday mornings but our ambition was to finish before bar opening time because if alcohol was introduced into the mix the discussions could go on all day!
Apparently, BMW doubled productivity and halved meeting times by making employees have all meetings standing up.
Woke up to an e-mail from Zooplus saying they didn’t need me to return the damaged litter tray, they would just send a new one ASAP – I also complained that the treat box was damaged, hopefully I’ll get another one of those too. Thought it looked lovely out, so came in my spring jacket with no gloves, regretted that when I got in the car to find it was 3! The filling I had done on NYE fell out this morning, so had to ring the dentist on the way to work, they have got me in on Thu. Need to ring the docs on the way home, when I went the other week she did two medication reviews, on Fri I got home to a letter asking me to contact them to make an appointment for one of them, opened my prescription yesterday to find that also tells me to see the dr/nurse for a review for the other, so need to point out I’ve had both, and can they update the records. Have found a random bruise on my arm, have a vague recollection of hitting it on Sat and thinking it would bruise. Glad you had a good weekend Ben, I do like York. Sounds cool Jud!

We have loads of those - and we seem to be incapable of starting things on time, we changed the meeting room we use to the one next to our desks so we don't move till other people turn up! We had our charity meetings in a pub, didn't stop us talking too long though.
I’m glad you sang for those in peril on the sea yesterday. Roger took the dogs out early and nearly got run over by the coastguard flying down the lane. The coastguard was too late as he’d already seen the rescue of a person from a yacht on the rocks being winched up by the helicopter and life boat. Exciting stuff that for a Monday morning. Diving into a ditch to avoid being run over by a would be rescuer wasn’t nice though.

Hi all, and so sorry you have the sciatica, Desley.Just got back from a four-day trip to visit middle son and his partner and their new home in Boulder, Colorado.
It was so easy to leave this place behind, and came right back in time for lunch in the dining room. No worrying about house and plants and pets and yard and snow removal and the post office and package deliveries... It felt like coming home.
Thats wonderful to hear Alicia! Home is a good feeling :)
Morning, everyone. The weather's actually too warm - my winter bedding feels out-of-place, and I woke up at 5am.
Yes it's a bit like that. Luckily we're at least two or three degrees cooler than London and the South at the moment Still yesterday I was working with my sleeves rolled up because it was so mild :-)
Morning. Off out to look for new comfy chairs to replace a now uncomfy sofa.
Yesterday was so mild it was almost warm and then today it is 2 degrees. I thought I was mad wearing a woollen dress but I'm glad now I did!Morning :o)
Chairs duly ordered. Now to wait six weeks - and attempt to get somebody to take away the old sofa.
Wow, can’t fault Zooplus’s Customer Service – e-mail at 5.50am saying they would replace and send ASAP, e-mail at 1.55 saying it had been dispatched, e-mail from DPD at 3 saying they were going to deliver it today! Have had to defer it till tomorrow, neighbour has plans today and I’m off tomorrow anyway. They are replacing both the tray and the treats. Another lovely blue sky, although the car said 1 when I got in it! Got the vets after work. Was watching a detective show set in the 1920’s last night and one of the suspects was diabetic – they were just doing the human trials for insulin, and I was shocked when they were saying he was old for a diabetic – he was only 24 - one of the detectives aunts died at 22 from it!Glad you had a good time with your family Alicia and enjoyed the feeling of coming back to no worries. Glad you have found new chairs Kath - is the old one still usable or not?
It is, though it's a three seater and the outside seats are recliners - and one no longer reclines. the middle one is pristine!
Wonder if a charity would take it?
I suffered what was presumably a sudden rush of blood to the head today - perhaps filled with the joys of spring - and decided to wash my car. You may think this is unremarkable, and even when I point out I have owned said vehicle for over a year and this was its first wash there is not much to note. However, I had my last (first) car for eleven years and never washed it, no not even once.In fact I believe this is the first time I have ever washed a car.
I think I maybe hosed down my moped once in my youth.
