I thought everyone had gone quiet but found you in the end. I seem to spend so much time in the potty disposing of litterbox parcels - as well as other more personal items - that I would quite enjoy a glitzy diamond encrusted lav and cistern. It would be a devil to clean though! We do have a chandelier and some art work in the bathroom - sort of "Louvre-Loo" I suppose. Anyway, it is beautiful and sunny here today, I have some jasmine tea brewing and I am trying to build up the energy to do more woodwork. The writing shed has no electricity yet but is otherwise quite cosy and nice to sit and read in. It has plenty of light as it is North facing. I got cold feet yesterday, but I get cold feet in the house so no change there.

Had a shock when I got in the car to find it was only 1 degree, it didn't look that cold.

She loves being outside watching birds, fish and frogs. This weather she rushes out into the sunshine, sits looking vaguely annoyed for a few minutes and then comes straight back in.

Our record player at the time could also do 78 rpm - that link sounds much like it.
The great advantage of playing my sister's 45s at 78 rpm meant they were over much faster.

That is also what threw me, Lucy happily went out more than once! Our spotlights in the car park were apparently broke this evening, rather interesting finding a black car in the pitch black
It's so good to see you all hard at work making Patti's new thread so pretty (ahem). I remember mastering that super etc, what a triumph to go faster and faster and have my parents stare at me with expressions that probably said I needed putting away somewhere.
I think it needs a few elephants.
I've just read the last page of my author thread and the elephant you sent me had me laughing out loud - really. I've been away for over a month and been far, far too busy, and I've missed everyone. I don't take part much, but I do keep an eye on you all, especially the elephants.

Hello. It's cold here too. I just about froze my tits off at McMini's football practise. Blimey it was cold. Luckily I had a really bad attack of the farts which did help keep my trousers warm. But it meant I couldn't talk to anyone. Ho hum ...

Morning - followed Jim's link and emnded up on the wrong page. Doesn't take much...Raining so the outdoor work is deferred. I shall be mostly clearing out the freezer which now resembles an ice cave with crystalline walls. Want to collect some meat from the local farm on Friday so this will make a bit more room!

Ernest Jones and Goldsmiths are two reasonable middle range jewellers. If you want the tops, then there's Mappin & Webb and Asprey and many others. If you're coming here for Christmas, you could stroll down Bond Street and try not to faint.

Well, after dealing with stupid drivers, I made my hospital appointment, iritis is practically cleared, although she has given me another month of drops to reduce them slower, and a re-check in two months. She thinks the pain is sinusitis, so have just put a warm flannel on my face and will pop to the chemist after work tomorrow, hopefully they can save me seeing the doctor.
