Dystopian/Fantasy YA that doesn't focus on romance?

I'd recommend The giver.. I think there are 3 or 4 books on the serie, I only read the first book but it was really good. It's a really short book so I recommend you not to read reviews. Is a classic, maybe i would put this book in the "middle grade" genre, but is definitely worth reading

Hmm that is a tough one, I think the best series that I can recommend at this time is the Throne of Glass, it has romance in it, but it's not the main focus give it a try maybe you will like it. The Bone Season as well.
