Week 1: Sections 1-V

So, I am not done with the entire section yet. However, I really love both interweaving stories so far. My guess is that The Blind Assassin is Laura's novel, but it isn't really clear yet. I can't wait to see how it all unfolds.

I haven’t started it yet cause I am waiting on it to come in from ThriftBooks. Shouldn’t be but a couple more days and I should have it I am hoping and I will just play catch up :)

I was a little bit behind, but finally caught up. Although I enjoy the story and characters, I don't find it as compelling yet as I found 1Q84. I feel like there's going to be a mystery of some sort and we just haven't gotten to it yet...maybe the mystery of how/why Laura Chase died?

And yeah, I'm pretty sure the parts labeled Blind Assassin are supposed to be Laura's book.

So the beginning of this book really started out strong. Then it tapered off a bit. I wasn't as interested in either story in the middle of the section. But then it got really interesting in Section V. I loved section V, and I am totally invested again. I am sorry I am a slow reader. I will continue to read this along with The Woman In White and keep sharing my thoughts on both if this discussion will still be available. I am a few pages into Section VI at the moment.
