Jason Robinson (goodreadscomairliner) | 8 comments I am interested in reading Sartre's classic, Being and Nothingness. Has anyone out there read it, and if so, what did you think?

John Graham Wilson | 37 comments A very difficult book on the first read, but it gets clearer when one has interiorised certain concepts. Part Four, the last part, is much clearer than the foregoing. The Look is fascinating. Also most of the content on being-for-others, especially the section on sadism. Try the we-subject - a good introduction to Sartre's later stuff in The Critique of Dialectical Reason. Sartre is bad on providing subject headings but there is a pdf version where you can do word searches.
