Romance novel where a naive girl named Danny (Danielle) is abducted by a handsome stranger looking for her "Da". They travel across the US including Philly and a town with hot springs. When they are in the town with hot springs, the hero receives a telegram informing him that Danny's Da is dead and he buys her a dress. They then go to Philadelphia to her cousins. They fall in love during the travels but the hero is resistant to falling in love. I can't remember the author or title of the book. Please help!!

Yes historical, set in the US somewhere by Montana or Wyoming area maybe? I kind of remember them making a stop to see friends around Jackson Hole hot springs? It's been a while so my details may be fuzzy.

Payal, why is the stranger looking for her father? Is he a bounty hunter or lawman?

Is her father simply described as a farmer or something else (e.g., gambler)?

What does Danny/Danielle's psychic gift allow her to do?

He is looking for her because her cousin is in danger or her cousin's baby is in danger and he is friends with them and asked him to find Danny so she can use her gift to help out. He believes Danny is a man so when he finds out that it is her, he kidnaps her to take her to her cousin and also because he does not want her to live on her own. Her cousin lives in Philadelphia. Her father does not play a role in the book except that the hero came looking for him. In the middle of the book, he finds out that her father had passed away which is why he had not been home in a while however Danny did not know this.
