Katherine Dering This book has a topic that is very interesting to me - a woman who worked for years and managed to get improved care for people with serious mental illness back in the 1840's. The writing style is stilted (the book was published in the 1930's) and a little difficult, but I think the content is worth it. I'm halfway through.
