I want to introduce you to what might be a new area of fantasy for you. It is called LitRPG and is growing in popularity. I will explain using my first book.
My book is about a tabloid journalist called Harriton Nikiforov. He is ordered to write a series of fluff pieces on the latest cool game called 'Fayroll' it is a MMORPG. Nikiforov enters this world expecting an easy assignment and hoping he can be lazy, but soon finds that there is more to this game than he thought. As he explores this world he makes many enemies and is drawn into clan intrigue as he descovers that for some people this really is more than a game. Meanwhile back in reality he must manage to keep on the good side of his boss and try to keep his family happy.
