‘“Will you two be quiet?! Fitz yelled.”’ Um, in case you forgot, Fitz… yelling is loud.
So I kinda imagine the collective as “element gnomes” like they look like gnomes, but with different elements. THey have the same size and body shape. Squall is an ice gnome, Granite is a rock/earth gnome, Wraith is a flying cape with the size of a gnome, Blur is a blurry gnome. IDK. Lemon thoughts.
If Keefe is allowed to feel moody or frustrated about one of his family members ending up a traitor, why isn’t Fitz allowed to? Keefe already had low expectations for his fam, while Fitz actually believed that his family was one of the the good guys. That all of them were good.

The Black Swan already had a Psionpath on their team, so Maruca’s input was actually unnecessary. Plus, Mr. Forkle said that they were “one of the best.” (‘“Was this made by a Psionpath?” Sophie asked, holding up her balefire pendant to inspect the edges of the force field. “One of the best,” Mr. Forkle agreed.’).
Why does this amuse me so much? (I think this is 209 or 269, I can’t read my own handwriting) “The dwarven guards made an excellent show of resisting before collapsing to the ground with defeated groans.”

‘“Do you? Because I can’t imagine any of the perfect Vackers being long time traitors.”’- Keefe, 221? And that’s where he’s soooooo wrong. So when Alvar WAS a traitor, guess who least expected it. Fitz… Keefe(who, btw, didn’t have the right to be shocked)... and the entire Vacker family.
