So I am a quarter way and the prince and Mer are about to spend a day together. I am sorry to say I am really dragging on this one. I think I am tired of the competition.

I think I am tired of the competition."Yup Sara, the first third of the book felt that way to me too but thankfully after that it picks up considerably and gets much more interesting :)
Sara wrote: "She's such a doter."LMAO! I wanted to slap them all at one point or another Sara. I swear LOL! They all got on my nerves. And believe it or not, Celeste ended up being the least annoying one in this last book hahahahaha! That's saying a lot!
Yes, Celeste just did something human. I just see Kriss as someone always following him around like a puppy and making him presents.
Well there are lots of interesting things happening in this last book. I was very grateful for the action and twists and turns that occurred throughout which made for quite the read. So get ready for lots of thrills.
After the shooting I just witnessed LOL he just can't go off with the other girls! She took a bullet for him! Anyway...40% along.

Okay. I like Americas decisions so far and standing up to the king for the commercial things. But what just happened with Maxon??
Sara wrote: "Eep! Now I am anxious to see what happens when the truth of her and Aspen is told to the prince."I was holding my breathe through the whole last part of the book over the possibility of Maxon discovering the truth about Aspen ACK!!!
Sara wrote: "Okay. I like Americas decisions so far and standing up to the king for the commercial things. But what just happened with Maxon??"I was very happy when she stood up to the king! I couldn't believe it when she refused to do it. I was very impressed.
You know what I'm tired of? Every time something like a good make out is going to happen between these two they are interrupted! Nobody gets interrupted that often unless they have six kids LOL
LMAO! OMG Sara right!?! I kept fuming over that. Why doesn't he get interrupted when he's kissing Kriss or Celeste oOO(>_<)OOo
All done. The ending seemed to be over fast and the big fight over Aspen just forgotten even though seconds before Maxon was being evil to her about it. Not sure what the point was over what happened to Celeste.
Hahaha! All great points Sara. I felt the same way. Couldn't mske reason out of the Celeste thing either. As well as her turnaround in behavior if I'm honest. Okay people change and all but she was so evil for 2 books and then she's not?? And then after all that just bam!? I guess things like that were part of the dystopian aspect of the story?! And yeah as you said Maxon gets raving mad over Aspen and then he's over it? And nothing gets said about Kriss' involvement in the rebelion? And all the crazy nonsensical shootings? Although to be honest none of the attacks made much sense. That ending was kind of rushed too after all the stuff they'd been through. All the drama and they nothing. And Aspen and Anna after he said she wasn't he's type?! Ugh! Oh well it wasn't great but it was okay.
I think Aspen went with Lucy but that was all of a sudden, too. One minute he's in trouble for America, then Some fighting, then Lucy's running into his arms like they've been together for a long time. If someone was going to be shot at the end I think it would have made more sense to kill Kriss. I agree too much was left open and needed expounded on.

Absolutely, I wouldn't have cared if it'd been Kriss that got shot! Would've been fair I think.
S.K. wrote: "I wanted Kriss dead. I hated Kriss!"She annoyed me too. I pictured her as a puppy, and was so surprised she was part of the resistance. Made no sense.
