I've been feeling a bit slumpish today and yesterday...I blame it on the heat.

I am ready to the next buddy read!
Don't remember if I'm supposed to fill your scorecard or not, Aristea, so... I did it anyway ;)Great job!

Thank you Virginie! I am always counting on you doing it when I am in the office - since I cannot open the page!
Let's see when I will be able to add Memories of Ice. I find myself dreading resuming the read, yet, once I do, I am completely hooked. The respect owed to the Malazan stories, I guess.
Bea wrote: "Also, we are only 100 points behind the Jaght Guardians at the moment! :)"That's unacceptable, I added 2 books immediately 😂

I'm reading some dark stuff here hahahaha. GotM as a start was great, if this is the weakest book of the series, I'll have a blast!
Good job Petrik! I'm impatiently waiting for your review of GotM :)How was TG: RE? As good as TG? Better? (please say better...)

I'm posting it tonight! So many stuff to talk about I'm going to cut them down. xD
As for TG:RE, imo TG is a bit better. It's still great though but some of the pacings were off

So am I! 😉
From what I've read so far you're very good at writing reviews, Petrik!
And if you already loved Gotm the next two books will blow you away!

Bea wrote: "From what I've read so far you're very good at writing reviews, Petrik!"Petrik is the TBR Demon. Every time I see the same book pop up everywhere on my feed, being added to everyone's TBR, I know he just wrote a review.

Hahahah unfortunately that will stop for a while because I'll be reading Malazan for a long time xD

I've been doing a mix of audio & book. Which is honestly probably why it's taking me so long because I have to have both the book and the audio in front of me to make it work lol. I would've been better off just reading it. Audio by itself would have indeed made it impossible to pick up on all the tiny details that make this book so cool (unless you listed on super super slow, but I don't have the patience for that lol).
