This heat wave has been insane. Where I live isn't too hot, but because my apartment gets the sun in afternoon my living room and bedroom feel like a sauna . :(

Yes, that's because there's a division by 0. It'll disappear as soon as you complete 1 book in August. I'm too lazy to modify the formula to fix the error as it is xD

Excluding the Bookburners episodes, I did 10 buddy-reads this month. And out of those 10, 9 were with Diana! We really are BR-sisters :O
Well done team! So much progress! I feel like I should be contributing more - and hopefully I will.
I also realized I am way behind on the Malazan world and I need to focus on that which also implies less books completed (for a gizillion points each book since they are quite thick). Yet, I struggle to commit only to Memories of Ice. Maybe I will for some days though to force momentum!
I'm calling it. Broken Angels is a dnf for me at 30%. Life is too short to struggle through bad reads. Been trying to read it for a month and only at 30%. I usually read physical books before bed to get me in the mood for sleep and this one was so boring that I would skip reading before bed. Guess I can take book 3 off my August tracker. Yay! One less book on my br list for August. Until Virginie surprises me with another pop up br ;-)
I almost DNFd Marked Beauty, but just managed to finish it. This was NOT a good book... Why it has so many 5-star reviews is anyone's guess...

Just finished chapter 2. That Siege of Pale was epic!
Things will get a lot more epic in subsequent books.

I remember on particular sentence was 'the stench of dried hay'. Since when does dried hay stink? It has a scent, sure. It smells nice, but I have never heard described as a stench before! Now, if it was mouldy hay, or silage, maybe, but not gorgeous dried hay!
(besides, isn't hay always dried by definition!?)
Not sure why that bothered me so much, haha!
And there was a bit about two characters kissing and there was mention of saliva - there is no excuse for mentioning saliva! I don't want to be reminded that kissing is a saliva exchange, thank you very much!

It's just something we do for ourselves. You don't have to and there's no rules about it.

Did you add Wolfsong and Roverandom or is the tally without those? Bcuz I read somewhere where you say how you preempt with the spreadsheet filling.
