Now you need a new historical heroine with a preoccupation with phalluses :)

I think I'm going to finish like 5 at once. It has been annoying not actually finishing anything for a couple weeks. :)

Awesome book! For sure it isn't for everybody, but for people that don't mind gore and enjoy thought provoking reads, this is brilliant!

Awesome right? the second book is my favorite self-published work! (together with We Ride the Storm which I finished a few days ago!)

I hope you'll like it! :)
And great job guys!
I have been AWOL for a couple weeks, as I have been on holiday!Updated the spreadsheet with the four books I read in that time :)
Is it also hot where you are? It was hot in England, it is hot back home.... Everywhere seems to be boiling at the moment! All I see for the coming week here is temperatures of 28 degrees and up!
Question - whilst travelling we went twice through the Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone audio book (for my daughter's benefit). Can I put it on the sheet twice?

When we got home on Friday, it had been 38 degrees that day - in The Netherlands! That never ever happens! It's *only* 26 today, but the rest of the weeks is looking pretty toasty!

Petrik wrote: "We're speaking in celcius right? it's always 32-40 degree here in Indonesia xD"This country is not built for such temperatures - it rarely gets above 30!
I have been in Singapore and Australia in such temperatures and it has not bothered me too much, but here! Awful!
Anni wrote: "Really? We had 35 to 38°C and up to 40°C this week... It's the sunniest, with the mildest climat. Never too hot in summer nor too cold in winter, thanks to the Alps.
It is way, way hotter in the South-West or Corsica.

You need to add your star rating to these updates. I think we all just follow your lead on what to read.

Yes. If you read it twice (or listened) I think it can count twice.
Virginie wrote: "Nooo, do not encourage the TBR Demon! :p"I have 2 months at the end of the year when I can read whatever I want. I'm trying to stock my shelves so everything I read is awesome :-)
Hehe. I'll try to burn through my series backlog during those two months, to start 2019 with a bang :D
Lola - yes count HP twice. :)
I live in a desert, and the last couple months we've been averaging 44C. I almost downright need a jacket at y'all' temperatures. ;P it's HOT!!

Omg that's extremely hot! *sends cool breeze and a big bowl of icecream*
It's "only" 35°C here today and I'm already melting...
