Awesome Petrik! Ironically I have a review for that final one scheduled out for Monday. It sounds like you liked the last two books a lot more than I did. I was in the minority for the BR on that one (too much dialogue, explaining, rehashing, theorizing for my tastes). My most favored and least favored books from her were all in one series haha.
What series is next on your list?

Oh! For a second there, I thought there was a fellow Frenchie in the team :p
Virginie wrote: "Oh! For a second there, I thought there was a fellow Frenchie in the team :p"For the moment you will have to contempt yourself with only this fake Frenchie here (lived 1 year in Lille and 8 in Montreal). :P
I really have to restart reading some books in French. Even after living almost 10 years in French speaking areas, just after one year away and my French is getting rusty. :(
My main issue is that I am not a fan of translated books. Feel free to send me names of good French fantasy authors.

O..."
Haha sorry.. I might not be a Frencie but there is a deafie. Does that count? haha
Oh well, fake Frenchie will do, I guess....(kidding, I think it's amazing someone would take the time to learn French)
I'm not a fan of translated works either, which is why I read mostly in English. (That, and the fact I'm not patient enough to wait for books to be translated...)
I don't read much French fantasy... Pierre Bottero made me fall in love with Fantasy (along with Robin Hobb). I read his books as a kid/teen so I don't know if they'll appeal to a mature reader.
Otherwise, I'm always hearing about those books (but haven't read 'em yet :p)
- Six héritiers
- Chien Du Heaume
- Gagner la guerre
- Cygnis
You can always check out nominees and winners of the Grand Prix de l'Imaginaire, Imaginales and Ebalkin.

I will for sure! :)
Haha I didn't need to ask - I thought it was a given!! Although in hindsight it was a really funny assumption.

Though I still find them enjoyable, book 4 and book 5 should've been one book. So many unnecessary stuff within these two installment. Talk talk talk talk talk talk talktalk talk talk fight tlak talk talk talk talk talk talktalk talk talktalk talk
Spot the 'fight'. Divine Cities trilogy by Robert Jackson Bennet shall be my next trilogy! After that I probably will be taking a break from fantasy for the month of June and will dive into Malazan in July! :D
That's my feeling about it as well - combining would've made for a killer final novel. I'm sill glad I read them though. :)
Cool!! Some good stuff ahead it sounds like. :D you'll pass me with malazan by the end of the first month I think. :)

Quinn wrote: "eh The Map of Time and The Shape of Waterany of you guys know these books?"
I saw mixed reviews for The Shape of Water. I think a lot of people read it for the romance, but just couldn't get over the fantasy side.
Lol my friend have weird mixed of books.. but there r some good books such as City of Blades and City of BladesI have a list that is unread owned book lol that list is going to be longer
