I too didn't read Grisha, but I really liked Six of Crows, so might be worth it to give it a shot. I def wasn't bored.

Last book of March! Total = 5410 pages for 11 books read. Not bad! :D
Thank you Virginie and Niki!!Also Niki, have you seen the US cover reveal of Empire of Ashes!?? It's so sick omg, I hope the UK cover can live up to it because i bought the UK edition of book 1 and 2 already xD
Omgomgomg!!!!!!!!! It's GORGEOUS! :D thanks for the heads up - I had to hunt for it a bit. Wow. That one is going to look awesome on my shelves.
Niki Hawkes wrote: "Omgomgomg!!!!!!!!! It's GORGEOUS! :D thanks for the heads up - I had to hunt for it a bit. Wow. That one is going to look awesome on my shelves."It's soooo GORGEOUSS! It was just revealed earlier!! Cant wait to binge read this trilogy this year!!! :D
I'm waffling between hounding for an arc so I can read it asap and trying to hold off so I don't get through it too soon.
Niki Hawkes wrote: "I'm waffling between hounding for an arc so I can read it asap and trying to hold off so I don't get through it too soon."What a predicament!! :D I hope I'll love it as much as Blood Song (it will be hard to top that one for me.)
I have been reading so many good comments about The Draconis Memoria that I might start it much sooner than I thought I would.

Amazing job, Petrik!
Thank you, Miche!! :D Anthony Ryan is a great author. I'm pretty sure book 2 and 3 of Raven's Shadow plummeted because he was traditionally published, where Blood Song was completely self published with his own imagination

Took me the whole month to finish it but I really enjoyed it. And the BR for the last of the trilogy starts tomorrow >_<
March totals: 6 books + 21 mangas/graphic-novels, 68.6 points, 4701 equivalent pages (GN pages / 4)
Less than February but I expected that with my new job. I'm actually surprised I managed to get more than 4000 pages :o
Finished Elantris and Kushiel's Avatar today. Just in time for month end :-)March totals: 13 books. 6,967 pages, 123.3 points
Same number of books as last month, but almost 1,000 more pages. Think finishing Oathbringer helped in that, though technically half of that book was read in February.

Edited to correct the amount of points. I think the spreadsheet has been lagging a lot for me when I load it.
Thank you Miche. You did an awesome job too. And you really devoured Obsidio :oI have to wait for a French translation and for my library to acquire it... Or maybe I'll just buy the paperback and have it shipped to France ;) I want to read it NOW :p

I'm copying and pasting above as my own as well since I finished it yesterday and haven't posted it here yet :-) Who wants to join for the second book?

Thank you Virginie! I loved this reading month! Let's see if not having internet at home in the next days will help me boosting the reading statistics for April!
On the other side, I just temporarily relocated (to the US) and I might need a second to adjust to the new apartment, etc.

I just love this series! I have been burnt out of ya, but for some reason this series I trully enjoyed. Probably the format and Aidan's point of view. :)
Niki Hawkes wrote: "lol I love those binge Reads! Was is the series ender or do you think there will be more?"It is the last one, Niki. :)

I loved this quartet. It is well put together, different in style and background (heavy reference to Middle Eastern and Indian cultures, heavy use of the Mafia - which at the time did not really exists but it was used with grace) and interesting magic system, very well balanced.
I wanted to start the second series right away! also, the audiobook is great!

I am curious to know your thoughts about this quartet! I loved it and I cannot believe I waited so long to start reading these books. I wonder if the second series is going to be as good as the first one - it is still set in the same world so the novelty impact will wear off.
Aristea wrote: "I loved this quartet. It's good to know the audiobooks are great as I get most of my reading by listening to audiobooks during my commute :)
I think I'll try to join the BR for the series in September :D

Well done Petrik!
I have the impression that besides book 3 of the first trilogy, you are liking the Realm of the Elderlings series; or did I miss something?

Nope! You're right, Aristea. Only book 3 of the first trilogy, and the fourth series (Rainwild Chronicles, super bad), the rest are REALLY good!
