This is extra hard because I remember the title but not the author, and can't seem to find it anywhere. The book was pretty short, probably less than 200 pages. The cover was of a scene underwater - maybe a woman in a lawn chair in a pool?

The book was sort of melancholy, like the woman was maybe looking to end her life, but I can't quite remember. It wasn't really a romance but there might have been some adult scenes.

Does anyone know this book? Can anyone give me the author name, or a link to it somewhere?
