Hello! I'd appreciate any feedback or suggestions anyone has to offer on my query.
Dear Agent,
The last thing runaway Feidhelm Moore expected to find during his latest stop was a purpose.
After Feidhelm uses his ability to create and manipulate fire in a “magic show,” businessman John Kostelecky asks Feidhelm if he wants to save the world. His first instinct is to say no — before Kostelecky teases information about Feidhelm’s long-absent father. To know what Kostelecky knows, Feidhelm must travel to the end of the universe and steal the Verity Archive, a book with the truth behind every lie, from its resting place to protect it from an ancient being that feeds off secrets.
Easy enough.
After an international search for other teenagers with elemental powers to help him, Feidhelm time travels to the disease-ravaged end of the universe with his team. Failure to steal the Verity Archive means the Shadow Thief’s victory and losing any chance at the truth behind his personal mysteries. Feidhelm and his team face three immortal Defenders of the book. Fellow time travels who can’t decide if they want to be friends or enemies. A madness-inducing illness to which they’re supposedly immune.
All intent on keeping them from the book.
VERITY, a YA urban fantasy complete at 95,000 words, is told from four different points of view. I believe VERITY will appeal to fans of Leigh Bardugo’s heist-driven Six of Crows Maggie Stiefvater’s The Raven Cycle.
Thank you for your time and consideration, Sincerely,
