Speaking of the Ojibwe coverup....

Indigo Broom was brutally murdered by members of the Ojibwe community. Your thoughts about what they did in administering their cultural justice? Can you understand what Liam O’Connor did in turning a blind eye?

Yes I can. Ojibwe felt that this was the only way to deal with someone like Indigo Bloom. They probably felt if you left it to "white man" justice that nothing would have happened to equal the crimes he had committed.

I think Liam decided not to impose the legal justice system on tribal matters after the fact. It was the right decision given how disastrous the consequences would have been long term. While I didn’t agree with the brutal eye for brutal eye Ojibwe approach to justice, it had the complicity of the tribal elders.
