It’s been over a year since Jo died and Cork is living alone for the moment with only Trixie for company. Has his lifestyle changed dramatically? While his life appears lonely, is he himself lonely?

I think he is missing Jo and the kids. However he has good coping mechanisms. His work always absorbs him.

[Angela]

Agree, he's missing his family, but perhaps in a way Trixie helped him over this time as there was always someone waiting at home needing him. Whether to taken for walks or just the company.

I think he’s a bit lonely. He’s missing his family but is also reflecting on his past, present and future. But, he doesn’t seem sad and that’s encouraging.
