Jan, Does this look like the horse on the left is showing a horseshoe or just hoof to you? I looked at the library hardback cover and the inside picture and I can not tell which one it is. I'm not ready to claim anything yet just a book I might read sometime this fall.

Good to know Barb! I've been interested in the series since I love his John Ceepak series.

And we did end up getting our ladder covered thanks to Rosa :)

Well, this series is obviously written for kids, and it's not a mystery series, but it's still a lot of fun. I'd recommend reading them in order, though, because the background story makes more sense that way. And I want to visit a library like the one Mr. Lemoncello built :)
