Ryan Hernandez | 2 comments the book i read was a paperback black binding and cover. the book is part biography part story telling non fiction. the man spoken of in the book is very spiritual (not religious) and practiced meditation. he was an activist. his connections with people never ended he would always say something like see you late or see you soon because he didnt believe that you were never going to see someone again. he described in his life that when he slept he felt like he was allowing his alternate self to awaken somewhere else. he mentions a tactic of going to sleep which i practiced for a long time during a tough part of my life. it was a 3 or 4 phrase repetition. something about reminding yourself why you want to sleep and what youre getting out of sleeping well. i believe the setting was somewhere like california or colorado, but that could be completely off. sorry. the book goes on to talk about this man being an activist in his day and sneaking into some kind of spiritually misleading camp and almost getting caught. he had a female friend in this book that he sometimes joined and would have very in depth conversations with, but they were never more than friends as far as labels go. i feel like this book was between 300-400 pages but could have been a bit smaller. i really dont have much of a memory allocation for books that ive read but ive wanted to recommend it to soo many people. its driving me nuts and here i am trying to describe it to you. if you have read this book you will probably know right away once youve read this brief description. i will post anything else i remember and hope to find this book soon as i want to buy all my friends copies and read it again myself.

thanks to all
have a green day

Ryan Hernandez | 2 comments believe the times discussed in this book were between 1960-1980 and therefor the book had to of been written after then
