Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace

Hi guys! For those unfamiliar with this book, It's a huge brick of ink and paper. I propose an Infinite Jest 2014 4th Quarter Buddy Read. I'm new to this group and I hope someone more experienced could lay-out a reading plan. It's a huge book and having people to read with may all benefit us with motivation. I talked to people who finished this book in 2 weeks but we're not all speed readers and we have other stuff to do so I guess 1-3 month will be enough. An added plus is we can have an IJHOHOL/Christmas Party! Sounds great right? I'm not sure if IJ was already read by the group during the past years (is there a way to search for older group discussions?) but organizing a buddy read for new people who wants to and doesnt have the motivation to would be good. 2nd time readers are also welcome! I hope this happens.

Hi Abby, two of us started to read this last year, but we didn't create a thread because we are both tamad. We both stopped somewhere in the middle though.

Not sure if I would join. I don't want to reread what I've already read; they are still fresh in my memory pa naman. I would definitely drop by here if this materializes. :)

Ako din naumpisahan ko na pero kasi gusto na ng maging disciplined at tapusin na. Nag board exam kasi ako so nahinto ako. Tapos ang dami kong binasa after. Sana lang may mag attempt pa na iba. Intimidating kasi ang laki. Hahaha.
