Oh boy! Another grand excuse to stock up on snacks, wear pajamies all weekend, lock the doors, turn off the phone, & unplug the computer (except to report in, of course!) ت
I'm pretty keen for a lockdown while the weather is still nice and chilly. Last time I kept falling asleep and only got through 300 pages! Coffee at the ready.

Do we have a Readathon coming up soon? I'm really looking forward to a weekend of just reading and an official excuse to ignore people and housework.

Thanks for the extra early heads up Brenda. :) And that'll be perfect, as it's the final weekend before the end of Term 2, so reports will be done and dusted for the semester. :) Yay!

I have added it to my calendar. I work on Fridays, have a cross stitch meet up on the Saturday but will have all Sunday to contribute.

Got my stack of books all lined up on the sideboard, rarin' to go! Leaving the more challenging books for later in the month, so I can concentrate on easy reads that weekend, so more pages can be read.

Hi Brenda, I just have a suggestion for this years read a thons. Just to make them a bit different maybe each one have some type of theme eg: If it was Spring time - Read books with flowers on the cover. Or pick a word eg: “Lie” Read books with the word Lie in the title. Just a suggestion, not sure if other memembers would be interested as the read a thons are going very well :)
