This novel is about two girls and how their different lives cross paths. The two main characters, Taylor and Lou Ann have bumpy background stories, and have learned how to persevere in tough situations, The two girls, who each take care of a child, go through a journey of job hunting, boyfriend chasing, and also house hunting. Along the road many characters add to their disfunctional “family” and join them in the adventures they face. I really liked this book. It was an easy read to I could understand as I read, I didn’t have to reread anything. It was also a realistic story, which I really enjoy. I would recommend this book to people who like realistic fiction.
