I own a copy of this edition and it has about 100 pages of index following the last numbered page which is 1197. Should these be counted manually and added to make the book's page count?

A little late, but now I've counted them all.The book (ISBN: 1579550088 ) has 1263 oages, including the index. However, the colophon follows on the next page, but I suppose we don't count that no matter what?

Colophons are counted, since they provide information about the book. So, 1264 pages in total?
