Powers,((limit of two for mortal characters, four for dragons and limitless for spirit characters.): Changing forms, Summoning lighting to his aid in any shape or form.
Personality:
Lightning refers to the movement of energy, almost always electricity, across a potential difference. A flow of current or a bolt or spark, are all functionally the same, flowing suddenly and because of energetic differences.
Lightning elementals are very interested in the flow of ideas and concepts of an 'intellectual' type, and seem almost compelled to educate anyone who engages them in conversation. This may be simply regarding their opinions, unfortunately, if they do not have enough actual facts. They also tend to enjoy collecting facts for similar reasons, but are not as good with emotions, which they often consider too subjective, even within themselves. This drive for creativity and sharing makes them engaging leaders, but sometimes causes problems when they consider themselves superior to authority figures, who they may then attempt to undermine.
At their best, they are confident, charismatic, and often do in fact act as leaders or at least figureheads. At their worst, they are arrogant, seeking to use power to manipulate others, often jealous of authority.
History: Galvan was created when a powerful lightning bolt struck rock. The impact from the lighting shattered the rock and took form to a young orb of lightning. For the most part of his young elemental years, he kept to himself. Not knowing even his own name. After a few dozen years, he took the form of a small boy, in physical form. He felt completely different as he moved around in this new body. For the next two years he moved around in this new body, gathering countless knowledge of how to move the most productively. The first time he encountered another race, he had the small luck of encountering a lone hunting party of humans. He couldn't understand them for the first bit, though when they tried to grab him. He didn't actually do anything to them. He was just carried away as if he was a lost child being returned to a mother. Though when he was brought back to the small village, no one claimed him as theirs. He was given to the village shaman in case something weird was with him. For the next five years, he saw the other children of the village age and grow as he did not. The shaman called him a special child and taught him the ways of a shaman. Though him being of elemental blood. Not one bit of it worked, though not for the reason he thought. He couldn't use any other element other than lightning, which was hard to get a hold of. He was cast out the next year, the reason for this was because during a thunderstorm, he resumed his original form. The shaman's tent was struck with a lighting bolt as Galvan was the one to summon it. This time he had taken the elemental form of a young boy around 5. The village was in shock as the shaman couldn't believe her eyes. Standing before her was a real live elemental. The first thing that came to her mind was how much their village could gain from his remains. Stones that would ward of evil storms, powerful lightning in a bottle that could destroy other villages that got in there way. So when she ordered the hunters and warriors of the village to attack him and bring her his remains. Galvan was so confused until he felt someone grab his non physical arm. He winced in pain as he felt energy leave a body, He looked to the person who grabbed him and noticed they were charred to a crisp. Being confused and semi scared, he ran for it like a child who had done something bad would. He just kept running, leaving his problems behind him. He felt himself pass through objects, a tree, he would feel himself run right through it. He felt light on his feet as he stopped running when he thought he was clear. When he stopped, he imaged himself being outside the village. He was dead wrong, he was in a totally different area. Now he had to wait to turn back into his physical form to move on again.
Fast forward about a few hundred years for him, he is now about a adults height in physical form. He has found out more about his kind from meeting with others of his kind. Finally understanding what he is has helped him figure out his place in the world. He has heard some folklore about beings if lighting being formed from the spots the lighting dragon has struck. He has scoured the land day and night looking for said dragon of lore. His main goal right now is to find the spot of his origin.
Fast forward a few more hundred years, He has come to the age that is just known as elder. He no longer turns into his elemental form whenever it thunders. He can control that at will, summoning his own storm to his call. He still has not found that dragon of lore, though he still has not given up.
