José Alonso | 2 comments Hi! I am interested in social perception of science and children literature. I am researching now picture books to find how scientists are depicted (white old men with glasses and a lab coat?) Could you help me? Is there any scientist (mad or not!) in your picture books? Thanks a lot for your help.

No scientists in any of my books so far, but I'll be sure to let you know if I stumble across any by other authors.

Alexis Wintrob | 1 comments Hello,
I recently published a book called 'Za Za's Scent-Sational Super Power' that features a young girl with science themes. There is even a section of the book where she is working in her home science lab. Hope it is helpful and you enjoy!

Rhey (randrwithrhey) | 6 comments Hi Jose,
Are you talking about real scientists or may be fictional scientists?
When I read the word science, the first book that came to my mind was,

Ada Twist, Scientist by Andrea Beaty
Ada Twist, Scientist by Andrea Beaty

So definitely no white old men with glasses and a lab coat haha.
Like Victoria, if I find any will share them with you.

Are you doing formal research or personal research for fun?
