My joungest daughter went to MIlan to study at University - her Master degree - and I still miss her.
My son on the other hand never gets out!!!

I have 2 older daughters still at home. One lived in a dorm for university but has special needs and the other wishes she could be out but has had trouble securing an apartment since there aren't enough available.

And I'm crying for this!
We had a sudden shift in temperature, etc between September 30-- and the month of Sept--and Oct 1! Dreary and much cooler.

GR have got rid of the “my writing “ section on personal profiles. I occasionally used to post stuff on this but seem to have left it too late to save stuff before it was deleted. Does anyone know any more about this ?

Received an email today advising me about forthcoming book sales which also contained some words of wisdom which should provide comfort to us all:-"Thinking you have to read all the unread books on your shelves before buying new ones is like thinking a wine connoisseur should drink everything in their cellar before buying any new bottles. Some books just need a bit of shelf-time before they (and you) are ready.
Books never expire. Owning books that you have not yet read is a perpetual opportunity to read them whenever you want." !!!!!

I'm here to see if you could, by any chance, help me.
I'd need an official translation of the poems by Sandro Penna in English. Wednesday of next week there's an happening with a reading of some of his poems and I'm supposed to do the translation. Even if I know the English Language well, I don't pretend to be a literary translator and I'd love to read an official translation rather than an amateur one made by me.
Has any of you idea - or access to English libraries with this kind of books?
I know it's hard, but you never know
