Teresa Hamilton is having a rough year—she’s in love with her big brother’s best friend, but he hasn’t spoken to her since they shared a truly amazing, mind-blowing, change-your-life kiss. She got out of a terrible relationship. And now an injury is threatening to end her dance career for good. It’s time for Plan B – college. And maybe a chance to convince Jase that what they have together is real.
Jase Winstead has a huge secret that he’s not telling anyone. Especially not his best friend’s incredibly beautiful sister. Even though he and Teresa shared the hottest kiss of his life, he knows that his responsibilities must take priority. He certainly doesn’t have time for a relationship. But it doesn’t help that all he can think about kissing the one girl who could ruin everything for him.
As they’re thrown together more and more, Jase and Tess can’t keep denying their feelings for each other. But a familiar danger looms and tragedy strikes. As the campus recovers, the star-crossed couple must decide what they’re willing to risk to be together, and what they’re willing to lose if they’re not…
(view spoiler)[I can tell already that Jase is going to be a pain in the ass. He clearly wants her but is being difficult about it. I hope it doesn't make me too mad. (hide spoiler)]
(view spoiler)[I'm not surprised that Jase is that kids father. I had actually wondered that earlier. I hate how Jase is acting that towards her. In real life that fool would have gotten left behind. A girl can only be rejected so many times before she snaps. (hide spoiler)]
(view spoiler)[I hope that Avery will say yes. I'm not sure if we find out or not. It sucks that Debbie died. I wonder if it really was suicide. That is not how I saw Cam finding out about Jase and his sister. (hide spoiler)]
(view spoiler)[I'm not surprised that Eric killed Debbie. Even though it was an accident. It was nice that Jase finally wanted to be a couple. However it still bothered me that he kept playing with her. Which is why this got a 2 instead of 3. (hide spoiler)]
Chapter 8 (view spoiler)[ J Lynn's writing is such a guilty pleasure, I know it's flawed and trashy but I just can't get enough. Jase is annoying and can be quite horrible to Tess, but he's also very attractive and funny. It's great to see the old characters from Wait for You again. (hide spoiler)]
Chapter 16 (view spoiler)[ This is making me feel all warm and fuzzy! Just seeing what Jase does for Tess, how he looked after her when she found out she won't be able to dance anymore, I love him. He's also a great dad to Jack and I really hope all works out for him. (hide spoiler)]
Chapter 25 (view spoiler)[ Well, Jase has become super frustrating! Everything had worked out fine but he's freaked and ran off again. Debbie's story is so sad, and I don't buy that she committed suicide, especially after what Erik just said to Avery. (hide spoiler)]
Finished (view spoiler)[ That Christmas scene was so cute! I love Jack and I love how Jase's parents react to Tess. This whole story is lighthearted fun, and it definitely had it's issues, but I enjoyed it a lot. (hide spoiler)]
