Chapter 1-7 (view spoiler)[ ok so has no one else noticed that Bella is obsessed with Edward, like extreme from the very beginning even before she met him in the class. That is very strange to me, for someone who doesn't want to draw attention. Also I don't know why Edward didn't just let her go after he stopped the van, he was quick enough to stop the van and then get out of the way before she realized that he was there, instead he chose to go with making small talk.
I am going to have to call a big steaming pile bullpoo, I understand not being prejudice against people that is all well and good, but to say that you don't care that the person who sits next to you in class may be a killer and you don't care... either she is beyond stupid or suicidal. Chapter 8 -15 (view spoiler)[ Hey DUMMY, so once you realized you were lost why didn't you call or something? When I first read this book I was a bit upset that Bella just got in the car no questions asked with a MONSTER, but I guess the devil you know is better than the one you don't. Then when he tells you that you shouldn't miss him that much... mind you this little tryst only just begun, you cry because he didn't call you when he got in on Sunday.

I would have been pissed too, Edward looking in while Bella played gym was a low blow... How embarrassing

So again in the woods he shows you how dangerous he can be and YOU STILL DONT CARE??? yup, you are crazy. Him being able to climb in the window is a good skill to have though (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 16- 20 (view spoiler)[ so here is where I start to seriously dislike Edward... We have already established that Bella is a nut and that she is not going anywhere... so now you are going to be super selfconcious about not being good enough for her... ugh can I get some confidence please?



I wish there was more about Carlisle and Esme seems like it would be a good story there.
And Charlie is awesome...lol.. Edwin...lol
I would love to see a vampire baseball game, that would be freaking awesome. I mean I can't play worth a hot damn so I would just be watching the blurs but still would be fun..lol


Maybe because I was raised in a very strict house but If i talked to my pops the way Bella talked to Charlie... Id have no teeth. And then to inform not ask that I will be driving states away....

Chapter 21-fin (view spoiler)[ So I could actually feel the anguish in Edward, finally find the one person that you love and she runs off and pretty much offers herself to the enemy.
James is pretty.. well he is pretty crazy, It was just so upseting to hear about Alice.
Now you can't tell me that Bella isn't obsessed... he makes a suggestion that she should go to florida for her own safety and she pretty much has a full blown nerves break down.

Chapters 1-7(view spoiler)[ I can feel her pain in this one, to have someone that you love completely tell you that you are no longer the one that they want even if you still want them is heart breaking. I also feel like Jessica was a bit of a bitch I mean sure she walked off to talk to some unsavory people but you know that she has had a bad time of course be mad that she could have been hurt but you don't have to act like she personally did something to you. Poor Poor Jacob, it is so obvious that he has stronger feelings for Bella, I can't see how she doesn't see that! (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 8-13 (view spoiler)[ Why do you torture yourself, like a glutton for punishment. They left Bella! Why go back to the meadow just to feel him? Also the Voice in her head... yea a bit crazy but understandable... also proves my point that she is more than just a bit obsessed.

Chapter 1-4: (view spoiler)[Every character in this book has managed to piss me off at this point and I'll never understand what kind of guilty pleasure this series brings me because although I understand being obsessed by it as a teen, it is downright awful for me as an adult. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 5-10: (view spoiler)[There really is no end to problematic content in these books. Quil imprinting on a literal toddler is nothing but creepy imo and everyone trying to justify Edward's controlling behaviour by saying oh that's just because he loves you is quite disturbing. Even Charlie's approach towards both Edward and Jacob is not that great tbh, I don't think it's coming out of worry for Bella but just his personal preference to who she should be dating (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 11-16: (view spoiler)[The volturi business and new vampires sub plot is interesting, I liked Jasper's background story a lot but on the other hand, I am not a fan of werewolves rn. Jacob was way too pushy with Bella and I am just not liking the way she is handling the situation. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 17-21: (view spoiler)[Edward plays such mind games with Bella to always get what he wants and then there's Jacob who just can't accept the fact that Bella doesn't love him the way he wants her to. This story really is a mess and the only redeeming factor rn is Alice and Jasper, I absolutely adore those two (hide spoiler)]

Finished: (view spoiler)[This was just stupid, Bella doesn't even want to get married yet she agreed to go on with it just in order to have sex with Edward, why so foolish Bella? Then there is Edward and Jacob fighting over her as if she's a piece of meat incapable of thinking for herself and making her own decisions. Disappointing. (hide spoiler)]

Book 1: (view spoiler)[I remembered this part vividly from the movies I watched back when I was a teen and I loved the wedding and the honeymoon so much at that point in time. I can’t believe i was so stupid lol, Bella looks like a sick teen in love who keeps making one foolish decision after another while Edward makes himself out to be the tortured soul but is nothing more than an annoying century old teen and I am so over these characters (hide spoiler)]

Book 2: (view spoiler)[This was in Jacob's POV and I can't say I enjoyed it any better than I did book 1. Everything seems so funny to me in these books now especially the chapter titles, I simply can't believe these are the characters I pined for as a teenager lol, I must have been so innocent. Bella getting pregnant and bonding in a weird way with Rosalie was the strangest part in this whole segment and when Edward finally goes from calling the fetus "it" to referring to it as a baby, Jacob's reaction was exactly how I felt in the moment. Chapter 26: (view spoiler)[Jacob imprinting on Renesmee, literally a baby is the grossest ngl, I can't believe how lightly the conversation went between Jacob and Bella about this weird dynamic they share now. Bella was like oh ok cool and I just can't wrap my head around it. Even Charlie's acceptance of all things supernatural came out of nowhere and it did not do his character justice, Charlie was the one person everyone could count on to be sane about this all but tghat didn't happen (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 32: (view spoiler)[I have never liked the Volturi business and I get bored whenever it becomes a part of the plot, that's exactly what is happening right now. No matter how much I try I cannot get myself invested into this vampire rivalry and with more new characters popping up, I just lose sight of what the book was meant to be all about in the first place. I am disappointed that there's no Renee in this book so far and no one even told her about Renesmee. Bella is adapting quite well to being a vampire (hide spoiler)]

Finished: (view spoiler)[All of it sorted itself out quite nicely towards the end. NGL i was hoping for an epic fight among the two sides with obviously Cullens emerging victorious but Nahuel's story did make me a tad bit emotional especially towards the end when Edward says he has finally begun to forgive himself after a century of pain. Bella learning to let down her shield was also somewhat good but what I am not going to think about is Nessie and Jacob exactly like Bella said lol! (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 1-2: (view spoiler)[Reading Twilight from Edward's POV isn't nearly as fun as one might hope it to be or maybe I have just outgrown these characters and their appeal. I find myself getting creeped out by his constant reading of minds and it makes me feel so uncomfortable to learn about what exactly was going on in his mind during those first few interactions he had with Bella. I maintain my stance that it was just infatuation and NOT love that these two share (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 3-5: (view spoiler)[I remember being so impressed by the scene where Edward saves Bella from the oncoming van and makes it stop with his bare hand and now this all just seems so comical lol, what did I even see in these books that remotely made sense? He is super obsessed about Bella, specifically her blood and still she and everyone else keep fangirling over him for absolutely no sane reason at all, nothing makes sense (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 6-7: (view spoiler)[Poor Edward, he keeps trying to stay away from Bella but she won't just take the hint. I get so frustrated with her for being so stupid at times and I feel secretly she really liked all the attention she was getting from the Cullen family and just acted innocent. These two DO NOT talk like seventeen year olds throughout the series and that is saying something (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 8-10: (view spoiler)[Bella has exactly one brain cell and that too doesn't work it seems because she is literally sitting next to a vampire and telling him that she isn't afraid of him despite knowing the fact that Edward craves for her blood, how insane can one might really be? It's true he saved her from the goons but how can she not be bothered by the fact that he has been keeping tabs on her? And then dismissing her friends like that pfft Bella isn't a good friend tbh (hide spoiler)]

Finished: (view spoiler)[Well I can't say this was entertaining, just mediocre at best. I am only glad that I finally managed to finish the Twilight series and can put it behind me now. This had been on my TBR for quite some time and it bothered me that I could never be motivated enough to be done with it once and for all. Today is the day I achieved my goal lol! (hide spoiler)]
