TB, you must have thought the game was up when Martin happened upon Marcel Marceau :) BTW, I like your hidden spoilers idea.

Don’t Act Like A Stranger - Cathedrals
Why You Play On Me? - Block & Crown
Back to basics with a word one.

That must be where I'm going wrong!"
Your guess of 'line' could be correct, but only if post 451 has incomplete information!
Let's see what nc says!

It's not 'line', HB, and you have - you guessed it- 2 links.

HB wasn't a million miles away with his guess at 455.

I Don't Want Your Shitty Presents
I'm Not Going Out in That
Help, My Cave's on Fire
Fuck Off I'm Trying to Sleep
Don't know the band though.

Same here. It was the most apt drawing though - and it's got words!
If everyone stays stuck, I'll start giving hints.

Yeah, they were straight pics though, no interpretation needed, and a subject I happen to know.

The only Bangles songs I can think of are 'Manic Monday' and 'Walk Like an Egyptian', both of which I can see here.
..OK quick Google yields: 'If She Knew What She wanted'/'Everything I wanted; 'Hazy Shade of Winter'; 'Eternal Flame'; In Your Room.

1. The original but ungrammatical* first title is If she knew what she wants (he'd be giving it to her)
2. The fiery cave contains a true 'eternal' flame. There's an escape of natural gas under a waterfall quite near to Niagara. Eternal Flame Falls
* I find this interesting. "if she knew" requires the past subjunctive. However it's not clear to me that that requires "wants" to be past tense. Wouldn't that be an example of hypercorrection?

If she knows what she wants, he’ll be giving it to her.
If she knew then what she would want now, he’d be giving it to her.
They all sound a bit clumsy. As the Irish saying goes, “I wouldn’t start from here”

I could argue the case but perhaps this isn't the forum. I think I might take it up on https://forum.wordreference.com/forum...
:-)
