This could go on forever. I can think of dozens of possibilities!I think we need a new link or the number of letters.
Meanwhile:

A few minutes until my self-imposed deadline, but what the hey:Hotel Bar - The Tallest Man on Earth
Bop A Ting A Ling - LaVern Baker

Is there a rule against making the same guess twice (for purposes of elimination)? If notsea
seaman

Red Sea
sea shore
We've never made a rule against it, TB, never had to. I personally don't like it, but if everyone else thinks it's OK, then I'll go along with it.Edit: on further consideration I would strongly oppose allowing such cynical gamesmanship. It's not in the spirit of the game, and would render it meaningless. Which it is anyway, but you know what I mean.
It's not meaningless. It would allow us to confirm or reject 'shore' as a link. However I accept your decision (which is why I asked in the first place). ;-)

Nice idea but I don't think your guess falls under the strict definition of an affix. Not 'b'..

Locked Up - Crypt
How Could You Believe Me When I Said I Love You When You Know I've Been a Liar All My Life - Fred Astaire
O Sole Mio - Enrico Caruso
(view spoiler)
I know, but I decided to make it one in an attempt to break the impasse. “C” would have done just as well.
P.S. I should have mentioned: Zero links for 'B'.Clues
1. You're looking for an affix in common rather than a freestanding word.
2. The link is not a single letter.

Locked Up - Crypt
How Could You Believe Me When I Said I Love You When You Know I've Been a Liar All My Life - Fred Astaire
O Sole Mio - Enrico Caruso
It's a Sin - Pet Shop Boys
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: Having done some research, the link isn't strictly an affix. It's a combination of an affix with another syntactical entity. However I don't think that will help. It's just me fending off any future quibbles. Let's just say the link is a string of letters that, when added to a correct word in a given clue, forms a new word.
Note also that every new word formed is to be found in the authoritative https://www.merriam-webster.com/ dictionary - I checked.

Although I’ve repeated all five of SW’s guesses, so maybe not. They are all in the dictionary though.
Ah, I see I made an error. 'sinogenic' is not in the specified dictionary; that's why I disallowed it. However I now realise that it should have counted as a link even so. I've been out of this game too long.It is indeed 'ology' so well done and over to you nc.
