One of my favorite novels is The Fault in Our Stars. It teaches even the most hopeless souls to learn to love and have hope.
A book that I return to often is I Wasn't Ready To Say Goodbye --- it's kind of a grief-support book, meant to help you see that when you suffer a sudden-loss of a friend or loved one, as I did in 2010, that you're NOT alone, you're NOT crazy, and there's hope and healing in the journey.
I think my FAVORITE book of all time is JANE EYRE. I love the way that it is written, and let's face it, I'm a sucker for a love story! I love classical romantic literature...yes, I know, I'm a nerd!
When Pride Still Mattered...its about Vince Lombardi and the drive to succeed with integrityUnbroken...shows what true courage in the face of impossible odds is
So many to chose from! But, I think I would have to settle on Clan of the Cave Bear. One of the first 'series' books I ever got into, and I read it for the first time back in middle school. I have re-read it (and it's successors) many times over the years. Great underlying themes of survival, prejudices, history, love, medicine, and caveman lore.
