Fantastic! ... thank you, Helen! ... x x x

Latvian's song wasn't bad at all, but again, that whole contest in general was a total bollocks again, including the winner imo. Is that why I'm watching (ok, mostly switching between other channels)? Yeah, must be my sick sense of humour I guess. Alright, Israel singer I liked too.

We somehow just stopped watching it a couple of decades ago and now we never bother with it anymore.

I am confused? ... did it never occur to him that he could still enjoy the live concert he already had tickets for and then settle down to watch the video of Eurovision the next day? ;o>

I think he gets a load of mates (not including me obvs) round and they do drinking games and get royally wasted whereas to attend the gig they'd have to drive 200+ miles round trip using the M62, pay super-expensive Manc parking charges, rush to get fed, stand for 3-4 hours (he's a very big lad with shot knees from rugby), etc, etc.

And as for the Irish entry, wtaf.
Bambi Thug. Sure I know 'it' is from Macroom and that's a rough spot, but still.

"When Chuck Norris makes a joke about Will Smith's wife, Will stands up and slaps her."
"Chuck Norris was once bitten by a king cobra. After five days of excruciating pain, the cobra died."

Chuck Norris died when he was 54, Death just hasn't had the courage to tell him.

LOL!!! ... ;o> ...

I seemed to be being plagued by those newish fangled "prove you're not a robot" things where you have to align a rotating circle so that the picture makes sense or the ones where you have to rotate the object to face the right direction. The circular picture ones are just aaaargh.

Oooooooh, those tiny, and often unfocussed and grainy, images of things that are typically american(?) and so not easily identifiable to people living in other countries are frequently the bane of my life when online. Sometimes, even when I am absolutely sure that I most definitely got it right, still the bots will insist that I got it wrong ... and I usually lose the will give a damn about the website I was trying to log into to by the time I reach the fifth attempt and counting.
I was unexpectedly endlessly trying and failing to get into Etsy last year after they suddenly decided that I couldn't log in to buy a greeting card unless I identified fire hydrants, inner city taxi cars, bridges, and steps/stairs, school buses ... and how the hell can anyone ever fail to identify stairs but, somehow, I STILL couldn't get into Etsy and this battle of the bots went on for over a week.
I finally lost the plot and asked Etsy why this was happening and was there any other way that I could just bob in online for 10 minutes to buy a particular card I had already previously chosen, (weeks before) for my Mum's birthday?!! ... and suddenly, just like that it stopped, and I've never been directed by Etsy to do it again since then ... !
On attempting to get into many other websites I've stopped caring about even trying to solve whatever comes up first and instead I usually just keep on refreshing the options or trying out the audio solution to try not to go insane at having to magnify to 200% while peering at badly blurred images that may or may not have a bicycle in them! ;o>

Yep! ... I even failed on those a few times as well and still do not understand how it is possible to get them wrong when the images definitely matched and looked identical in their direction.
Now I intentionally take the image one rotation further and then bring it back again, like I am working on trying to make up my mind and, thankfully, I haven't failed any more since I started doing this ;o>
