“Walkers are being warned to steer clear of some footpaths in Aberdeenshire because of an angry capercaillie that is on the hunt for a mate. The male bird could attack anyone who gets too close to it, authorities have said. Disturbing a lekking capercaillie is an offence”

“Walkers are being warned to steer clear of some footpaths in Aberdeenshire"lest ye disturb ony o' the numerous lesser-brained sheepshaggers in the midst o' thur complex an' intricate mating rituals. i.e. tearin' thru' the fields in oversize wellies an' brandishing a crimson lipstick!

WoW?! - LOL!!! ;o>(Yes, I am a white single female just into her 50s - but no, I don't spend all of my free time in watching Cat Videos online ... Hee, Hee, Hee!!! ;o>)
Don't make me have to come round and confiscate all of your Internet Accesible Devices for your own good, young lady! ;o>
I’ve just ordered a couple of soap dishes from ebay:100% Brand new and high quality!
After waterproof outer layer paint process plant, easy to clean, no deformation.
Unique design that allows Soap Soap keep dry, more conducive Handmade soap persisted.
Natural Bamboo material, there will be a natural Bamboo soap dish and there is a normal phenomenon tiny flaws you know!
Easy to clean, no deformation.
I bought my Mum one of these off eBay (for 99p!) a few years ago now as a rather fun novelty - and she still absolutely loves it and always has it in use pride of place on the side of the Bath ;o> ...
I like it! Nice colour too. I haven’t got a bath anymore so only have small ones for the washbasins.
It's made of Silicone so it can easily flex into fitting into a corner space and, once a Month or so, I just give it a soak in the Sink to wash any excess Soap residue off it. I didn't really expect for my Mum to like it so much, as we don't tend to share the same taste in things, but she loved it so much that our Bathroom now has Turquoise/Teal coloured Towels and a matching coloured Roller Blind on the Window as well ;o>
Mum drew the line at me also buying this for our Loo though ;o> ...
So I went and bought one for my friend's Flat instead! ;o>
Sadly, as things are left between us, I don't miss him all that much now ... but I find I do still miss that daft and cheery Loo Seat! - LOL!!!

Today I was in the local Chinese general store, having a search around. You always have to search around because the narrow aisles are piled to the ceiling with every kind of item under the sun and with very little organisation. It's a magic place for me because you are sure to find something you didn't even know existed or something that can be put to another use. Yen Huot has been my staple provider for miscellaneous goods for over 30 years. In that time the staff's English and my Chinese have not improved one iota, but everyone is so cheerful and helpful that it doesn't matter. Today I came across a portable electronic scale - for weighing your baby? the fish you caught? Its features are:
* Super screening description
* Designing smart by personal characterize
* Bigger volume and higher precision
* Very cabinet and being suitable to carry it.
And all for only £2.75! I resisted temptation.
Shrewsbury station 09:10. Young man in crap suit waiting on platform with a large hold-all and an ironing board. Any ideas?
Mobile ironing service - "Have iron, will travel". The hold-all is for the iron, spray starch, ironing water...
Elderly transgender person with Bet-Lynch-style earrings sitting opposite me. I can see it's going to be an interesting day.

His mum has finally had enough and told him to do his own laundry - the hold-all contains all his creased clothes and an iron :)

Clearly he's running late for a job interview. The 'crap suit' you spoke about is perfectly good. It's just crumpled and he didn't have time to press it before he left home.
Apparently the Americans got there first on this one! ;o> ...
And the really brave even dare to go Ironing Board-less! ;oO ...

Scottish farmer admits 'ancient' stone circle actually built in 1990s ;o> ...
"Archaeologists have had their celebrations cut short after it emerged an "ancient" stone circle was actually built by a farmer less than 30 years ago.
A landowner in the parish of Leochel-Cushnie, in Aberdeenshire, reported the find to historians in December, who began researching what they thought was a centuries-old recumbent stone circle.
But their excitement was cut short when the farm’s former owner contacted them to confess he built the stone circle as a replica in the mid-1990s ..."
