Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 600 comments The NHS doesn't reach as far as Dublin anyway....

At least you gave me a good giggle :)

Alongside the usual hordes of sparrows, starlings, blackbirds, collared doves and pigeons we now have a pair of chaffinches visiting our garden and earlier I noticed a jackdaw eyeing up the nut feeder and trying to lever it off its' hook.

Deep-fried piranha skin on an achiote rice cracker topped with huampo tree-bark emulsion, and a piranha fillet tartare cured in salt and cane sugar served on a sweet potato piperone.

How old was the Pot Noodle?

suzysunshine7 | 16038 comments I never checked?! ;oO

I didn't like it and so I left most of it ... which is probably why I am still alive today and able to tell the tale ;o>

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 600 comments That's too nutty to be a bot.

message 723: by suzysunshine7 (new)

suzysunshine7 | 16038 comments ... and SO much nicer than having too much botty to be a nut ;o>

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 600 comments Now you have me in a fit of giggles! You'd think I was 12 instead of 52.

message 725: by suzysunshine7 (new)

suzysunshine7 | 16038 comments I'm 49 for another 53 days - and then, I guess, I have to grow up?

... but I've absolutely no intention of doing so! - HA HA HA HA HA!!! ;o>

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 600 comments Well I haven't yet. I looked at a few others who had done it and I really didn't like the look of it.

message 727: by suzysunshine7 (new)

suzysunshine7 | 16038 comments Yeah me too ... I have already made it clear to all of my loved ones that I want to be declared clinically insane and then euthanized on the very day that I ever even start contemplating wearing a pink nylon Twinset with knee-high American Tan Popsocks and suddenly talking about maybe getting myself a Blue Rinse Bubble Perm! ... ARRRGGGHHH!!! ;oO

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 600 comments Maybe you could join the Red Hat Society?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Hat...

message 729: by suzysunshine7 (new)

suzysunshine7 | 16038 comments Hmmm? - the thing is that I'm not really a girly kind of a Girl and so a very girly kind of a group probably wouldn't suit me at all?

And I am also a redhead already - and one who unfortunately always looks downright daft in any kind of a Hat too - LOL! ;o>

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 600 comments Oh fair enough then, it probably isn't the place for you. I'm not really into that myself, but I'm glad it exists for those who are.

message 731: by suzysunshine7 (new)

suzysunshine7 | 16038 comments It's a fantastic idea and obviously provides a great social network for women ;o>

I'm just going to grow younger instead of older and continue to care less and less what anyone else thinks about what I should be like as I age! - LOL! ;o>

I've no sign of any grey Hairs yet? - and I understand from my Hairdresser that redheads usually take a lot longer to lose their natural colour ... but when I do finally start to go grey and then white I intend to fully to embrace and celebrate my options and get my Hair coloured something vibrant and beautiful like this ...

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 600 comments Oh wow thats awesome! Go for it :)

I've had gray hairs for quite a while now. Thats actually in fashion, or was last year anyway. Probably thought of as passe nowadays, and the fashion is to shave off the left side or something ridiculous.

message 733: by suzysunshine7 (last edited Apr 16, 2018 02:15PM) (new)

suzysunshine7 | 16038 comments Well I'll certainly stand out from the rest when slumped half-asleep in my Parker Knoll Armchair in the TV Lounge of my Care Home, won't I?!! ... HA HA HA!!! ;o>

If it doesn't turn out as I had hoped or takes far too much maintenance to keep bright and fresh then I'll settle for this instead ...

message 734: by Isabella (new)

Isabella | 1369 comments Sad to say, the red in my hair faded to a boring dull brownish shade a while ago but I so missed being a redhead. Now the hairdresser (a brilliant woman) assists my plot against ageing. I do like those multi-coloured styles, though. Maybe I might try something like it next time I need a lift...

If you do..then a name change might be required..Miss Rainbow? Sunshine Rainbow? Dunno! But good on ya, anyhoo.

I've not much left in the way of follicles on me bonce anymore...so I thunk... ah bollocks to it..let it go grey!

I think i'll be more shocked at the sight of a stray grey in another part of me body though! Thankfully that hasn't happened ...yet! :-D

Just Google ... Rainbow Hair ... OR ... Rainbow Pastel Hair ... click on 'Images' and you'll see some stunning looks, Isabella. I like the idea of doing it when I'm older and have lost my original Hair Colour because you usually need to bleach the existing Hair Colour out before you can tint them to these true and clear bright Colours - and, obviously, with already grey or white Hair you don't need to.

I love the contrasts, the fun and style element - and also the freshness, warmth and the life that they give back to the Face ;o>

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 600 comments I have the gray hairs everywhere theDuke, and it is a bit of a shock at first...

Craig White | 6727 comments wow! Miss Cumnock 2018! a rare picture of the winner as she celebrates her 11th birthday! 17 of her 23 children arranged for her to have this make-over - have to say, it takes years off her!

I've found that the hair that previously grew on my legs and armpits has migrated to my face. Eyebrows grow at an alarming rate and one has to keep a close eye (just when your eyesight is diminishing) on stray hairs on the chin - not there when you go to bed, two inches long on the morn!

I've instructed my children that when I am in the care facility, no longer know them and am spitting and biting, they're to tie me down in order to trim the eyebrows and remove facial hare. I* do not want to look like our former PM:

I won't have any family around for me when I get older - but I have made several lovely friends of the Girls who take such good care of me at my local Beauty Salon and they have promised to always keep me looking at my best! - LOL!!! ;o>
