Tribes At War ~ Nas & Damian Marley
'Morning Jemma and Tim, just a quick one before getting ready for work, catch you later!😁

A Hazy Shade of Winter - Simon & Garfunkel
Afternoon Martin. Hope all is good with you all. It's very cold and wet here today so I'm keeping indoors, I had planned to go out with Zoe but it's just too horrible there's no enjoyment in riding in the cold and wet. You still putting the hours in Martin...I'm on Tuesday 'til Thursday until January now needed some down time but I'll review my hrs in the new year. We signed up for Netflix last night and picked out a few films to watch but it's only on the months trial to see if it's worth the bother. Catch you on the flip... 😊
🎶......The leaves are brown and the sky is a hazy shade of winter...🎶

Fish On The Sand ~ George Harrison
Hi Jemma and Tim, pushing through this week until Saturday but then I've got a few days respite before the long haul into New Year but like you I'll be looking for some changes for next year. I'm quite a fan of Netflix, seems to be reasonably priced and it gives me a chance to see films and series that I have missed or a look at what's new. Also I can view on tablet or laptop when ever I want, there's a fairly wide choice though most of what's on offer is not my cup of tea there is enough to keep me interested. I can understand your trepidation as I felt the same when I first joined a couple of years back and there have been the occasional dry spells when nothing tickles my fancy but it is a handy alternative and has had some really good stuff now and then. Ciao 4 now 🐶!
🎶Well, I lost my shirt in a card game in which I never had a chance🎶

El Condor Pasa (If I Could) - Simon & Garfunkel
Afternoon Martin. I bet you`re looking forward to that time off. It`s getting very busy at work and the shops all heading to the Xmas hols. I`m taking time out because the work load is a bit too heavy for me at the mo, let some of the younger ones do their bit for a change. Tbh, I`m not very clear headed to the extent I ran a red traffic light last week....not good driving, is it?! So we`ll see what new year brings and I hope you do the same...all work and no play...hmm!
Regarding Netflix...we saw `Shooter`on Sunday night with Mark Wahlberg and Danny Glover good film and one shot kill theme with the obligatory blowing everything up...LoL! We don`t watch that much TV and we have Youview etc, anyway we`ll give it a chance for the trial at least. I must admit going through the lists it seems to be aimed more at the younger set and Horror films don`t interest me at all. Hope you`re all keeping warm and cosy. Take care, cya on the flip...!

Free Fallin' ~ Tom Petty
Hi Jemma and Tim, day off today, Michelle's new bed came this morning, luckily Thomas was also off so between us we managed to change them over. Been looking at some Tom Petty T-shirts on 'Zon this afternoon, there's a good selection so I may get more than one but I've ordered one with 'Damn The Torpedoes' logo. At least your red light incident didn't have serious consequences, driving is something I never got round to, had a few lessons in my late teens but soon realised I wasn't Stirling Moss material, like you I didn't have the concentration. Most of my mates were driving anyway and I was quite happy to be a passenger (and get drunk!🍻), traffic was bad enough then but todays roads are the stuff of nightmares. I gave up cycling some years ago because I just didn't feel safe any more, these days most cyclists seem to consider that pavements are no longer solely for pedestrians. Between them, wheelie bins and cars parking up on the kerb there's hardly room for walking let alone pushchairs and wheelchairs. Sorry, I'm moaning again, seems to get worse with age finding fault with the modern world. Anyway hope you manage to start taking things a bit easier workwise, I certainly shall next year. Ciao4now🐶.
🎶It was a beautiful day, the sun beat down, I had the radio on, I was drivin'🎶

Mean Woman Blues - Roy Orbison
Afternoon Martin. Hope all is well with you all. Michelle will be pleased then.... :o) I`ve always fancied a T-shirt with a skull on it but up until now have resisted the urge...Lol! I`ll have a look later at the Tom Petty ones Ryan might like them.
I was with `the bloke` so I got an earful about being careful which I usually am...sigh! What can you say about the roads...hmm..it`s a curse sometimes but very necessary for me and how far we are away from our family. I don`t like bicycles on or off the road/path but I will give them a cars width when passing cos they can be as arrogant as drivers sometimes. If you can live without transport then that`s good. You`re not moaning it`s just the world is going crazy...AGGHH!!
Talking of driving we are away home tomorrow for Ryan`s 30th birthday, I had mine last Friday, staying `til Sunday and we won`t see them then `til Xmas and that`s not far away either. Are you working this weekend then?
I`m gonna chance my luck here and ask you what you think of the new album from Roy Orbison and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, I have had a listen and I liked what I heard but in no way think it`s better than originals, what`d you think? Oops!
Anyway, have a great weekend and catch you on the flip... :o)

Hi Tim. ;o)

Quacktor And Bureaucats ~ Budgie
Hi Jemma and Tim, yeah, I'm working Fri/Sat with sleepover then a long break 'til the following Friday (can't wait!), most of the time I rely on buses and taxis when needed though I prefer to walk where possible and weather permitting. If we are really stuck Mrs O's brother can usually be relied on to help out so all in all we get by, it's also a great money saver, no tax, insurance, MOT's, petrol etc, I dont know how some people afford it but like yourself there are those for whom it is a necessity.
Haven't really give much thought to The Big O with the RPO, like the previous Elvis one it seems redundant and just wrong on many levels, just another excuse to rip off Joe Public with a big salespitch aimed at the gullible and unwary. No thank you, I'll stick with the originals if you dont mind! Speaking of TV advertised cd's, no doubt with Christmas in mind, have you heard the diabolical Shane Ritchie and his abominable assault on the lugholes 'A Country Soul'? Not one country song in sight, a collection of dire reproductions of some top notch pop songs mutilated beyond recognition, hanging is too good for him. Not much better is Bradley Walsh giving us a second helping of his painful renderings of jazz standards, Carry On Karaoke at its worst!
Budgie, regulars at one of my old haunts in the 70's/80's, Northant's Cricket Club, a great venue, not too big, not too small, a room full of beer swilling, headbanging rockers on a Saturday Night - brill!! Judas Priest were another band that played there a lot - have to go, I'm welling up (sniff!) Toodles!
🎶I don't need no quacktor to tell me why, I can't see it, why do we believe it🎶🐶🐣

Quacktor And Bureaucats ~ Budgie

There was an interview with the guy behind the orchestrations of those abominations on my local BBC radio today (3 Counties). It's probably on the iPlayer if such things grab you - presenter's name is Nick Coffer. Not sure what time it began, but around 30 minutes into his show is a good kick-off.

Amazing Grace - The Blind Boys of Alabama (To the tune of The House of the Rising Sun)
Afternoon Martin. How`s life been for you? Back from a really good 3 days with the family. I haven`t been on a bus in years wouldn`t know where they went either, but if that`s the way you like it that`s good. I admit keeping a car on the road is very expensive but one of my luxuries, one of very few.
Back to Roy and RPO... I`m thinking maybe a new generation will buy it and get interested and look further into Roy`s past works of which they`re are lots. I like listening to orchestras so no hardship to me and hearing Roy`s music in a different way.
You sound like M`.... black and white with no shades of grey, especially in music. Good job we`re all different then. ;@)
I also liked the Elvis one....sigh!
I`m really disappointed you don`t like `Shane and Bradley` I`d got them earmarked for the money I got for my birthday...I mean what a delightful waste of said money can you get then buying their offerings...LoL! I`ve seen them on the ads, but the ones that really get my goat is those appalling ads that have got singing dogs about flash and singing females whining about safe style windows, completely ruining Bonnie Tyler`s `Hero` etc... rant over for now. ;o(
My son has just spent 3 days of last week in your part of the world staying at The Radisson Hotel. He was on a Pneumatics course which he passed and got his City & Guilds cert, he really enjoyed his stay as well and thought how big your town is.
I heard `The Blind Boys` version of Amazing Grace in a film I`ve just seen `The Pastors Wife` I really like that version but maybe you already know them, if not it`s worth a listen.
Not back to work until Tuesday so enjoying the freedom but it`s very cold here. Take care. Cya on the flip...! :o)

As You See Me Now ~ Jose Feliciano & Jools Holland
Hi Jemma & Tim, enjoyed a nice lie in this morning thanks to Mrs O', feeling very refreshed. Relaxing with a wee snifter and catching up with the world on Goodreads before watching a bit of telly so everything's hunky dory. Three days in a hotel, Mrs O' would be jealous so I'll keep shtum about that. All being well I might have enough for a long weekend somewhere next year for her and Michelle, maybe a birthday treat, they're both June babies. Don't know the Blind Boys but I will have a listen, the oddest version I know is an instrumental version by Yes bass player Chris Squire. There are some really bad plagiarised songs on adverts and I know the ones you mean. The weather is either bright sunshine but cold or mild and damp, neither seems very appealing but probably a bit of sun is better, you can always pile on the layers against the cold but damp is just miserable and grey.
Been a fan of Jose Feliciano since back in the 60's, he used to pop up on tv occasionally, his flamboyant spanish guitar playing really stood out - even for a youngster like me. This new collaboration with Jools looks very interesting, much more my cup of tea so Santa if your reading this🎅! Ciao4now.
🎶This old life has flown by, I can't change it and I won't try, I have not always been as you see me now🎶

Light My Fire - Jose Feliciano
Afternoon Martin. Hope you enjoyed your weekend of freedom. I`m back tomorrow `til Thursday it`s been really restful having a few extra days off especially heading towards Xmas.
Are you planning anything special for Xmas or a quiet day with the family?
Everytime I turn the TV on it`s seems to hit the adverts...arrggh!!
Still cold here but at least it`s dry for now anyway.
I`ve only heard `Light My Fire` Martin but I do prefer his version to a lot of others I`ve heard over the years. Are you a strictly originals man or do you like cover version as well, of any song that is?
Anyway, bye for now. :o)

Silly Love ~ 10cc
Hi Jemma & Tim, no work till Friday this week ("lucky sod" she muttered odiously) so I'm still chillin'. Worst to come, soon the supermarkets and shops will be serenading us with endlessly repeated festive songs and scowling staff in merry christmas jumpers and fancy dress - Aaagh! There was a bloke on telly the other day who, in all sincerity came out with this wonderful observation during a discussion on the big Supermarkets Adverts for the coming season, "After all its what Christmas is all about" and not the slightest hint of irony!
Christmas as usual will be a quiet, peaceful two days in the bosom of my family, Chez O'Brien will not be open to the public, a few phone calls to close friends and family - another blessing in disguise from not driving! - no rushing around to visit them. I shall be working 22nd/23rd and back in on Boxing Day so the world will have to continue without my prescence for two days. I shall be listening to some Gregorian Choral music for the nativity, which is about my limit for the religious proceedings, my favourite part is an early morning walk with the dog, a good frost on field and hedgerow and that magical silence of no traffic to disturb the peace and tranquility for a few hours (hopefully!) better than the inside of a church IMO.
🎶Hey toots, you put the life into living, you brought a sigh into sight🎶

What about Christmas Songs that are your personal favourites and/ or not well known?......
Run With The Fox ~ Yes
Solstice Bells ~ Jethro Tull
Thanks For Christmas ~ XTC
I'm Not Dreaming Of A White Christmas ~ Gilbert O' Sullivan
A cover you might want to avoid I heard on the radio the other day, Bing Crosby 'Hey Jude'.

Let It Be - The Beatles
Afternoon Martin. Hope you’re enjoying your days of chilling I’m finished until Tuesday so I’ll join you.😉
You don’t like all the faff that goes with Xmas then Martin. We’ve both got Xmas jumpers but then you have too when there’s a wee grandchild in the family and I must admit I like all the hoo-haa that goes with it. As for shopping well....that’s just another nightmare to get through. A few years back we spent an hour in a checkout queue at Asda, never again, I get my shopping online and delivered to the door, there’s better things to do then wander round supermarkets whilst trying to negotiate a trolley...sigh!
I’m off for two weeks over Xmas so we’ll split our time between the family and being here on our own. We used to go to church for the carol service but unfortunately we don’t even do that now. Let’s hope we don’t get 10ft of snow or rain and floods coz that’ll be really annoying and so devastating for those involved. We don’t get that much traffic here but people come this way xmas probably to get the sea air and walk off the food...lol! Anyway, whatever you do with the family enjoy it. 😉
My fave Xmas song is ‘Blue Xmas- Elvis and my not fave is Drummer Boy - Bing & David’ arrggh! I still like all the old favourites, Pogues, Noddy, Wizard etc, they say the oldies are the best...yes?
Covers.....hmm..there’s loads of covers I prefer to the originals but too many to post here. I don’t listen to the radio so I don’t suppose I’ll get to hear Bing singing ‘Jude’ thankfully.....😅
Enjoy your weekend whatever you do with it and cya on the flip....,

Russian Roulette ~ Van Morrison (he's not had a mention in a while!)
Hi Jemma and Tim, nice work when you can get it! I used to go the whole nine yards when Thomas and Michelle were children, for me it's the young ones who make it all worthwhile, they get so much joy it's infectious. What wears me out is the prolonged assault of commercialism for several weeks before hand with little or no homage to Christmas as a religious festival. When I worked in retail as soon as the shop shut on Christmas Eve down came all the festive paraphernalia and within minutes it was like it had never existed. Really makes one cynical. The other thing is the huge amounts of food that people get that you couldn't give away the rest of the year so now we have pared away what we buy and eat down to a few extra little treats, some cakes and sweets, usually donated by some relative or other that last into the new year and beyond. Some years we have a buffet style spread, after all its not like turkey is a once a year rarity these days, plus you don't have to spend two days entrenched in the kitchen preparing it!
Believe me, five or six weeks of listening to Noddy, Roy Wood et al twenty times a day over the tannoy when you work in a supermarket for fifteen years or more is more than any human should have to endure!😡
🎶They're playing russian roulette with your mind🎶

Whatever Happened To Christmas (Songs We Shouldn’t Forget)
https://www.discogs.com/Various-Whate...

Queen of the Slipstream - Van Morrison
Afternoon Martin. Yeah, it`s the youngsters that make Xmas special and I`m enjoying buying girly things and playing with dolls at my age. LoL! Sorry! I forgot about the poor shop workers having to listen to Noddy & co on a constant loop, it must be wearing on the ears. ;o( It would be nice to hear some Xmas carols for a change...such is life and it`s all over in a flash. We`re like you just buy and eat what we would do normally but my son has got hollow legs cos he eats like a horse and never gains an ounce. :o) I gave up chocolate a couple of years ago mainly because it`s a migraine trigger for me, I don`t miss it now or sweets. Well...come boxing day they`ll probably get out the Easter eggs.....sigh! Are you getting any new toons for Xmas?
I`m still hovering over that Roy Orbison Album...I might, just got to decide for sure. Take care. Byee! :0)
♫......You're the queen of the slipstream with eyes that shine, you have crossed many waters to be here......♫

Popcorn Double Feature - The Fall
If a store played carols these days, you can be sure it would immediately attract the attention of the 'professional offendees' who would tell them doing so was insensitive to non-Christians. Even Christmas being a christian festival wouldn't make them pause for thought, so convinced of their moral superiority they are. 😤😒😏

Carpet Crawlers - Genesis
Hi Tim. 😊 You’re spot on there Tim and as always getting away with it. What’s to be done though. 😠

Get Up Offa That Thing - James Brown
Hi Jemma, people just need to stop behaving like the 'boneless wonder' is all. I was heartened the other day by a guy who's the new head of some body that deals with students, who says they need to be made uncomfortable instead of the way in which any views or people from the past they dislike are routinely suppressed by the craven fools who won't just tell them to shut up. We're in danger of creating a Daesh-lite generation who try to ban any opinion they disagree with instead of engaging in debate. Orwell, where art thou?

Nickel Song ~ Melanie
Hi Jemma and Tim, got a phone call for work this morning as somebody rang in sick, no rest for the wicked!😈 So a quick word, you're right Tim, it's a mean old world out there from which no amount of cosseting can protect you. Jemma -new toons for Christmas? - too many as usual, DVD's also, trying to narrow it down but everyday usually find something else I want. Top of the list currently;
Johnny Winter Original Album box set, Amazing Rhythm Aces, Albert Lee and Gillian Welch (probably all change by next week), I'll have to wait for payday and see what I can budget for next month.
Ciao4now all you groovy cats! 😺
🎶They're only putting in a nickel and they want a dollar song🎶

Policy Of Truth - Depeche Mode
Afternoon Martin. Hope you’re all ok. I’ve had that call several times Martin it makes you wonder if the said person is really sick or can’t be bothered but anyway as always people are still relying on you. 🙂 New toons, eh?....oh well, you’re spoilt for choice then. There’s Shane and Br.....lol! I’ve often thought wouldn’t it be brilliant if you could just sit down listen to all the toons and watch the dvd’s, probably you’d be like me bored after a couple of hours especially watching TV...! I think I’d rather be doing something than just sitting around. I’d leave that Xmas list where it can be seen by the family Martin and live in hope...? 😉 There’s plenty of feral cats where I live if you’re talking about them but we don’t have groovy ones coz these ones would take your hand off given half a chance...lol! 😈
🎶......and deciding in your youth, on the policy of truth.....🎶 😊
Afternoon Tim. Who knows we might get them carols this year after all....hmm? 🤔

Wallflower ~ Peter Gabriel
Hi Jemma and Tim, I think it was genuine as the person in question is not known for pulling sickies, didn't mind too much as one never knows when it could be you so it's like storing brownie points. I very rarely sit and listen to music now, mostly when I'm on the move or busy in the kitchen but do enjoy putting my feet up with a good movie for a few hours (which doesn't happen very often), and a glass or two of something. As I said I do enjoy some Gregorian Chants especially around Christmas, rather than the more traditional carols, very soothing and spiritual, with headphones of course, Mrs O' definitely not a fan! There are a few cats round about us but pretty domesticated and usually very wary, hiding under cars or disappearing over fences and walls.
🎶Six by six from wall to wall, shutters on the windows, no light at all🎶

x2
Swing Down Sweet Chariot - Elvis Presley
Afternoon Martin. I`m glad it was a genuine call but people can be funny at times. I`m the same as you listen on the move and in the car. We both enjoy good film too and Netflix is proving very good at the moment, time up on 11th Dec so we might keep it going for awhile with nice cuppa that is... ;@) I`m not familiar with Gregorian Chants I`ll have to look into them. At least the feral cats keep the vermin down but they don`t like humans.
Catch you on the flipside. :o)
♫......I've never looked for trouble, but I never ran......♫ :0)
Afternoon Tim. :o)

Cradle Rock ~ Rory Gallagher
Hi Jemma and Tim, back to work tomorrow sadly, still its been a fairly restful week. Justice League was excellent, thoroughly recommended, one of the best superhero films for a long time. Netflix is pretty decent at the moment, watched John Wick the other night, fairly violent shoot 'em up revenge story with Keanu Reeves and gnawing my way through Scorpion series, disfunctional group of nerdy geniuses who assist the government with high tech crimes. Ciao4now dudes🐶 "woof woof"!
🎶Tonight everybody's getting their angel wings. Don't you know you're riding with the king🎶
Oh!, here's a cat story then, a few houses ago and when the kids were a lot younger (weren't we all?), it was a warm summers day, the kids were in the garden playing and the front door was open. A small black and white rocket flew down the garden path, into the house, up the stairs, disappeared under Michelle's bed, curled up and went to sleep. One tin of cat food later our "visitor" went to the door and started miaowing loudly, I opened the door and said cat vanished like smoke into the night. We assumed that that was the end of it but next morning puss was back on the doorstep demanding to be let in and became a permanent fixture. We called him Felix and never did find out who he belonged to originally but there was never any doubt who owned who then.

Misty Blue - Etta James
Afternoon Martin. Hope you’re all good. You’re working this weekend then, Poor you, it must be coming up for your busy time as well Martin. There’s plenty going on at work coz some people go to their families for Xmas so lots of preparation for them to leave for awhile. We’ve seen quite a few Netflix films and last night it was War Pigs more on the lines of the Dirty Dozen, all a bit far fetched really but ok for a couple of hours. I see John Wick on the list I’ll have a look tonight when TV goes on. We never have TV on until about 6-ish onwards then M’ has to catch up with the news first...sigh! The weather has picked up slightly we had snow, sleet & wind during the week but luckily it didn’t lay probably too wet.
I loved your cat story....what a cheeky young kitty and he obviously became part of your family or as you said he took over....lol! 🐈
Meow for now Martin, cya on the flip....
🎶......Go On, take on this old world but to me you know you’ll always be my little girl....🎶 😊

Lady Godiva ~ Peter & Gordon
Hi folks, been a bit hectic this week, catching up with some Crimble shopping, helping Michelle out with some stuff (the usual bureaucracy paper trail of proof of identity) and a new table and chairs from Argos which was a nightmare to assemble. Anyway I'm back so how's things with you and yours, all tickety boo here - touch wood! No new music at the moment but I have ordered a few bits and piece so I'm waiting by the letter box impatiently. The days are getting shorter still but midwinter is soon upon us and the start of a New Year so that's all good. Fiver is part of a Bo Hansson piece called Rabbit Music and Lady Godiva is rhyming slang for a fiver, I vaguely recall this P & G song but had to look it up as I couldn't remember who the artist was. Ciao4now 🐰.
🎶Seventeen, a beauty queen, she made a ride that caused a scene🎶👀

2000 Miles - The Pretenders
Evening Martin. Glad to hear you’re all good, we’re fine thanks. Not had much time for music lately just when I’m in the car on short journeys, better than nothing though. I’ve done my Xmas shopping and cards ready for posting which is good for me as I always leave it until the last moment. Yes, the days are very dark and short roll on new year and back to decent light. I don’t know P&G but I do know quite a lot of rhyming slang...hmm! It’s been very cold here and it looks like snows not far away, maybe you’ve already had a covering.
What’s your thoughts on conspiracy theories Martin, namely Elvis Presley and Macca? I was browsing YouTube awhile back and those two names popped up. I could see where it might be deemed necessary for Elvis with all that idolising and never leaving his home etc and tbh I wonder if it’s not true. Macca and a car crash not sure how an exact double of him would be feasible but once again could happen I suppose. What’d you think Martin? Anyway, have a good weekend and stay warm. Meow for now. 🐱
🎶......He’s gone two thousand miles it’s very far, the snow is falling down, gets colder day by day......🎶

Boredom ~ Procol Harum
Hi Jemma and Tim, snow, snow and more blxxdy snow! Today, woke up to about an inch this morning, carried on snowing all day so its now about four/five inches. Not content the white stuff is now mostly a grey slush puppy that will no doubt freeze overnight into a thick crust of ice until we get a decent thaw. Every weather report insists on informing us that it's really snowing heavy - yes, we know, we can see it out the window! They then go on to tell us, "Don't go out or journey anywhere unless absolutely necessary." - another totally obvious observation!
On conspiracy theories? - hmmm. All conspiracy theories are invented to hide what is really going on, smoke and shadows to conceal the real truth behind the lies, believe nothing the papers, government etc tell you - or is that just another conspiracy? I believe behind the public facade of those supposedly in power are others who are invisible and operate within secrecy and hidden agendas. Maybe that's just my own personal paranoia but in the main I try to remain rational and take everything with a very large pinch of salt.
On a happier note, recent arrivals on the doormat, Johnny Winter Box set, Peter Gabriel So 25th Anniversary, Robert Palmer compilation and Gillian Welch Revival - all I need now is some free time to give them a listen. Ciao4now 🐶!
🎶All in all, it's all the same, call me if there's any change🎶

Who’s Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses - U2
Afternoon Martin. What a long week this has been....phew! Sorry to hear you’ve had the weather so bad, we were more fortunate with just sleet but very slippery icy conditions hope you’re getting a clearing now. I have to say despite several warnings I noticed drivers were still using the coast road as a race track which could easily finish up with them or some other poor person in a ditch. 😤 M’ takes me to work in the icy conditions exactly for that reason, the coast road can be lethal. Ahyway, that’s chewed the ears off that! 😖
Hope you are all good and keeping warm.
Paranoia isn’t a concept I have much understanding about unfortunately, but I have come into contact with said people. Conspiracy theories are the same for me, I just don’t get it. Mick is strictly black & white definitely no shades of grey (including the book) for him but I can and will see another side of any situation. I see you may be the same while you’re taking your pinch of salt..lol!
Ahh, you’re all set for a listening experience with your new albums then, brilliant! I’ve had no music at all for some days now just haven’t been in the mood and preoccupied I suppose.
BFN or meow for now! 🐱 😉
🎶......Who’s gonna ride your wild horses? Who’s gonna drown in your blue sea?......🎶

Square Peg, Round Hole ~ Chris Rea
Hi Jemma and Tim, pretty much cleared now after some rain, just a few small icy patches but very cold again today. I do enjoy playing Devil's Advocate at times when I can see both sides have merit without actually believing the cause which I may be arguing, more of an intellectual debate that interests me or just being contrary for the hell of it! Anyway (not sure what is going on with my tablet, the keyboard is on a go slow) some good news, just received a bit of a tax rebate out of the blue, we also qualified for the winter fuel payment recently as Mrs O' now qualifies as a pensioner. It's all very nice but disconcerting as the pessimist in me assumes it will end in tears somehow but optimistically it makes for a nice little windfall for Christmas. Let's hope it's a trend that will continue for the coming year! Ciao4now 🐶 (Hmm!, whatever it was it seems to have sorted itself out. Keyboard now functioning normally)
🎶He's a square peg in a round hole, misfit in a slick world🎶
Growin' Up - Bruce Springsteen
Hi Jemma/Martin
